Leo "awakens" in his bed, relieved that was just a nightmare.
There is a knock on the door. It is the masked Plunger. She takes her mask off. It's Stephanie. She says that she talked to Abe and Kate and they agreed that killing the head writer before the show begins is great publicity.

Ron C. must think he's absolutely HILARIOUS. He isn't. He's that one guy at a party who only has one joke and proceeds to tell it over and over again, then explain it to death.
Also, I cringed at the whole "Oh, we can't kill off a character, the audience might be upset! But it's totally okay if we kill off the head writer". Ron is about as subtle as an ax to the head. He apparently also hasn't heard the old adage that it's not wise to bite the hand that feeds you.
