Chad returns home and find Julie waiting for him. She finds out that Abigail a) didn’t get her memories back & b) isn’t even Abigail. He fills her in on the fact that Clyde was behind everything. Fake Abby was to marry him to steal his money. Julie doesn’t think that Chad would marry someone he barely knew but Chad admits he did just that.

Julie is in shock but tells Chad the marriage isn’t legal. He knows that but he still feels like he dishonored Abby’s memory. Julie says that Cat is the only dishonorable person in the equation. He explains that Clyde threatened to kill her mother if she didn’t cooperate. Julie tells him not to feel for a con artist. He says that Julie has always been there for him and she says it has been wonderful having him & kids there with her & Doug. She offers to make him a cup of tea, but he tells her there is something he has to do first.

Maybe it was bad editing, but Chad tells Julie that Clyde is holding Cat's mother and in the next breath Julie asks if he has feelings for Cat. Weird uneven conversation. And telling Chad that having him there was the best part of Julie and Doug's "marriage" was just odd.

I noticed that too @kpatch. I'd think that Doug and Julie had many great years before they got old and stuck as perma babysitters for Chad's kids.
