Philip shows up at the Kiriakis mansion with a letter that he says was sent to the mental health facility in Europe where he was receiving treatment. Justin reads it and confirms it’s Victor’s signature and was dated prior to the plane crash. In the letter, Victor states he changed his will. He wanted to leave Titan to Philip but couldn’t, only because at the time Philip was presumed dead. Xander asks Justin if he has a case, and Justin states the letter is enough for Philip to contest selling Titan.
Xander tries to appeal to Philip, saying he needs to give Titan to Kristen so Sarah can walk again. Philip says Xander is to blame for trusting a woman who he knew to be a liar. Xander lunges at Philip. Justin breaks it up and Xander leaves the room. Justin appears disappointed in Philip, saying you can understand what Xander is dealing with. He’a doing this for his wife. Philip counters with “I’m doing this for my father.”
Later, Philip enters Vivian’s hotel room. She gushes that Titan will soon be theirs. She places her hand on his cheek and he holds it there.

Vivian totally wrote that 'Victor' letter. They didn't establish that she is a 'master forger' in the same episode for nothing.
I was almost with Philip until he blamed Xander for Sarah's injuries because he trusted his mother. Especially since Philip is conspiring with his equally awful surrogate mommy

Whilst I love Philip's return, especially with this actor in the role, I'm so confused as to how and why he's teamed up with Vivian. Normally, he can't stand her. I'm so intrigued at what's to come next!

I totally agree that Vivian forged Victor's signature.
And yes, Philip typically hates Vivian. She nearly killed Melanie and Chloe. Seems like this is for the plot and in true Carlivati fashion, character be damned.

I think Vivian forged the entire letter, not just the signature. I don't think Victor wrote it at all.

This plot already is turning me off. Philip teaming up with Vivian makes no sense.
I agree with Philip challenging Xander about selling off Titan but all the other stuff feels like poorly written forced drama junk.
At least he is practically the only one that brought up the fact that the serum might not work.

I am so glad finally somebody said it out loud. Xander has a ton of money. When the thing gets FDA approval then he can buy it. Who cares if it takes years once it is proven to work and be SAFE?

The last time she was given a miracle serum, it turned her into a little girl with a crush on Eric.
