In the Square Fiona gloats about her freedom and explains that they didn’t have a case and she didn’t confess to the police. Sarah asks what happened to the person who said she loved Sarah like a daughter and played with Victoria for hours. Fiona blames the booze. She asks Sarah for a favor, which we later see is to bring Xander a letter.
Kiriakis mansion When Sarah returns to the mansion, Xander wants to tell her about the meeting with Kristen. First, she tells him Fiona is free and gives him the letter from her. The letter states she’s leaving Salem. She is sorry she ruined everything. She really did try to change and maybe one day she will.
Bye Fiona.

I'm glad that she had a moment where she explained her love for them was real but she is a disaster who messed it all up. And hopefully we see her again under a better, female, writing team. Ron hates Moms for some reason, they are all like this under him.

I don't believe Fiona for a second. If she felt even a quarter as bad as she claims she does, she'd refuse Trask's offer to drop the charges and confess to everything. But she didn't, because at the end of the day, she doesn't care about anything or anyone but herself. That letter to Xander at the end was dripping with "poor me" energy. I wish Sarah had told her to shove her favor. Fiona doesn't get to try and elicit sympathy, not when she so clearly lacks empathy for those she's hurt. If we never see her again, it will be too soon.

June 4th - Xander to Sarah:
"My mother never had a moment of self reflection in her life, she is quite pleased with herself actually"
He had her pegged until he saw her again and wanted his Mum back.

Well played scene with sensational reactive acting by Sarah.
As far as the letter I'll give Fiona a mini pass. She is unredeemable but I suspect she wanted her parting with Xander to have what is left of a positive glow. Why write a negative letter to him. She wanted to leave Xander a glimmer of hope.
Days did a good job seeing Fiona off and I do believe she will return.
Note Xander crumpled up the note but didn't rip it up.
More fine acting from Xander and Sarah.

Whether it be the Brady Pub or the Square we often see "extras" performing duties like waiting tables, cleaning, polishing up etc.
I envy them. I would never want to be an actor, nor am I the least bit capable, but I would love be a so called "professional" extra. If there is such a thing. Seems like a low risk not too stressful job. And not much thinking involved to boot.
Sounds like something right up my alley. Ha.
