This week's questions:
1. Joy came to Salem and flirted with and possibly slept with Johnny, then argued with Nancy. Are you satisfied with this entrance story for her or would you have preferred something different? 2. Were you surprised that EJ let Fiona go? 3. Philip's back! Does it make sense that he is so determined to stop Xander from selling Titan to Kristen, given that last time he was in town he had no interest in the company whatsoever? 4. There was a lot of blame going around for Johnny accusing Chanel of sleeping with Alex. Stephanie and Alex blamed Seth, Kate blamed the two of them, and Paulina blamed Abe. Was there truth to any of that, or is Johnny solely to blame for jumping to conclusions? 5. Looks like Gabi's cousin is in town, judging from the cliffhanger. Are you excited to meet him? 6. What annoyed or aggravated you about this week's Days of Our Lives? 7. What was your favorite scene, quote, or story from this week's Days of Our Lives?

1. Joy came to Salem and flirted with and possibly slept with Johnny, then argued with Nancy. Are you satisfied with this entrance story for her or would you have preferred something different? Something different. I love that Joy is in Salem, but surely there must be a better story for her than being involved in BS (Take that how you wish).
2. Were you surprised that EJ let Fiona go? Yes!
3. Philip's back! Does it make sense that he is so determined to stop Xander from selling Titan to Kristen, given that last time he was in town he had no interest in the company whatsoever? Sure. Philip’s interest or lack thereof in the company is much like anyone else’s in Salem these last few years, dependent on the needs of the story. Though this at least makes sense. Last time we saw Philip, he had just gotten his life back together. I should hope he’s in a much better place now, and it makes sense he’d want to stop his father’s company from falling into the hands of a DiMera. Plus, Titan is his birthright.
It is largely Johnny jumping to conclusions. I do think Seth shares a little blame, since he did refer to Chanel and Alex by their character names and told Johnny they were sleeping together, but he was also jumping to conclusions, so…it’s muddy.
5. Looks like Gabi's cousin is in town, judging from the cliffhanger. Are you excited to meet him? I’m interested to see what happens with him, but the jury’s out on whether I’d say I’m excited.
6. What annoyed or aggravated you about this week's Days of Our Lives? All things BS, the possibility that Johnny slept with Joy. But more than anything, that Fiona is going to get away with what she did, and is currently bragging about it. Those tears and “I’m sorry”s from a few weeks ago now ring incredibly hollow, and they were clearly performative to attempt to gain sympathy from Brady, Xander and Sarah.
7. What was your favorite scene, quote, or story from this week's Days of Our Lives? Philip’s return! I know I’m in the (infinitely small) minority, but I love JPL as Philip!

1. Joy came to Salem and flirted with and possibly slept with Johnny, then argued with Nancy. Are you satisfied with this entrance story for her or would you have preferred something different?
I skipped all her days. I don't do Body and Soul. But yes, anything different would be better
2. Were you surprised that EJ let Fiona go?
No. He has no personal issues with her. He only goes after people he hates.
3. Philip's back! Does it make sense that he is so determined to stop Xander from selling Titan to Kristen, given that last time he was in town he had no interest in the company whatsoever?
Yes. Whether or not he wants Titan, he will want to protect it from Kristen.
Again, watched none of it, but it sounds like plot driven nonsense.
5. Looks like Gabi's cousin is in town, judging from the cliffhanger. Are you excited to meet him?
No
6. What annoyed or aggravated you about this week's Days of Our Lives?
My days "week" was two episodes.
7. What was your favorite scene, quote, or story from this week's Days of Our Lives?
Xander telling Sarah he owes Victor nothing and owes her everything. I'm glad this travesty was stopped, but I like he made it clear he values her over everything else.

Good questions. Here are my answers.
1. Joy came to Salem and flirted with and possibly slept with Johnny, then argued with Nancy. Are you satisfied with this entrance story for her or would you have preferred something different? I loved her introduction. It was so much more than just Body and Soul. That was background stuff. I said this in another thread, but I’ll say it here as well. Joy has tons of potential. It was a brilliant move to have Nancy bring her to Salem. It automatically gives Joy ties to Salem and connects her to characters we all know.
Her relationship with Nancy feels very realistic and even similar to Chloe's contentious relationship with Nancy. Joy also has baggage due to her being conceived solely to be a bone marrow donor for her dying sister. I was happy to see that get mentioned and I hope it's explored further.
As for Joy and Johnny, I don't know. I love Johnny and Chanel together, but if Joy becomes the "other woman," it's not because she was trying to come between Johnny and his wife. Johnny had already done that. I hope their affair/relationship is not long-term, but I kind of like it that the show is keeping us in the dark as to whether Joy and Johnny really did sleep together.
2. Were you surprised that EJ let Fiona go? Not really.
3. Philip's back! Does it make sense that he is so determined to stop Xander from selling Titan to Kristen, given that last time he was in town he had no interest in the company whatsoever? Philip wasn’t interested in running Titan, but of course he wouldn’t want to see it going to the Dimeras after her father built the company from scratch and worked hard to make it a success.
It’s mainly on Johnny. Johnny should have told Chanel what he saw and asked her about it but it’s likely he wouldn’t have believed it anyway. When you mix in Johnny’s jealousy, you get a setup for disaster.
5. Looks like Gabi's cousin is in town, judging from the cliffhanger. Are you excited to meet him? I used to like Rafe. I used to like Gabi. But when they start importing new characters to bolster a boring family, there’s a reason. No, I’m not looking forward to his introduction. Remember Dario? Remember Arianna? They didn’t last either. Nuff said.
6. What annoyed or aggravated you about this week's Days of Our Lives? John Paul Lavoisier showing up to impersonate Philip. He’s never been Philip to me. He’s a terrible actor, he’s unattractive and doesn’t have the ability to give Philip the depth and layers Jay Kenneth Johnson did. It’s a pity. I’m also aggravated at what’s been done to Johnny and Chanel. Bonnie and Leo were cringeworthy. I hate that Xander let Kristen have the upper hand when we know there are alternatives, such as going directly to Rolf and offering him oodles of money. Rolf can be bought. And lastly, Fiona gloating at Sarah was nauseating.
7. What was your favorite scene, quote, or story from this week's Days of Our Lives? I liked the way the show introduced Joy. That’s about it.

This week's questions:
1. Joy came to Salem and flirted with and possibly slept with Johnny, then argued with Nancy. Are you satisfied with this entrance story for her or would you have preferred something different?
So far so good with Joy. She added a new element to the show
2. Were you surprised that EJ let Fiona go?
Not at all. The courtroom evidence was shaky, and he doesn't know Fiona enough to hate her like he does Brady. And Xander.
3. Philip's back! Does it make sense that he is so determined to stop Xander from selling Titan to Kristen, given that last time he was in town he had no interest in the company whatsoever?
I can understand Philip stopping this insanity in its tracks.
Johnny mainly for jumping the gun. I can understand his confusion but he should have let it simmer a bit longer before blowing his fuse. For the record I think Seth is an ass.
5. Looks like Gabi's cousin is in town, judging from the cliffhanger. Are you excited to meet him?
Not one bit.
6. What annoyed or aggravated you about this week's Days of Our Lives?
The new Philip instead of the old Philip. And Kristen the blood sucking leech.
7. What was your favorite scene, quote, or story from this week's Days of Our Lives?
Xander trying to slip one by Kristen the Witch was good fun. As for story I am glad the asinine fake Abby tale has been revealed and now they can move on to more interesting things like what to do next as Kat's mother is in dire straits. And new character Joy added some zest to the proceedings.
And finally an improvement on Kat's wardrobe.
Not a lot of great quotes but I liked Stefan who was feeling rushed by Trask to sign the divorce papers who said that "it wasn't as if he was signing a time share for the Florida Keys."
