Justin can’t believe that Xander is thinking about transferring Titan to Kristen. He softens when Xander explains trading Titan for a serum that may help Sarah walk.
Sarah wheels in to talk to Xander. She tries to convince him that she has come to terms with not being able to walk. She does not want him be give away his (and Victoria’s) birthright.Sarah knows she can live a productive life. Xander’s mind is made up. Sarah has given him so much.
Kristen arrives with papers and a vial. Xander takes the vial but Kristen warns that another vial is needed to complete the treatment. Xander prepares to sign when Justin stops him. An injunction has been filed to stop the transfer of Titan. Only a son of Victor can do that. A sneering Philip enters.

Already hating Philip.
I imagine Xander having half the cure will be enough to help Sarah.

I already miss JKJ. What was up with JPL's lifting of his lip and baring his teeth? He looked like a silverback gorilla trying to show dominance.
Maybe I'm being a bit to rough on him, but in my mind, that is not a typical Philip entrance when he's got a plan for something.

It was very off-putting. I think they are setting up a Good Xander vs Bad Philip scenario. Ron doesn't do subtle

Philip should come back but JPL ruins him every time. Very mediocre actor who doesn't know how to give a character layers. That snarl WAS offputting and not at all Philip-like.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Sarah who contacted Philip. She has been known to try to save Xander from himself.

That snarl instantly made Philip look like the villain to noble Xander doing what he must for his true love. Usual crap black and white writing

Kristen is the proverbial "blood sucking leech."
I am MOST disappointed in Justin today. Why is everyone assuming this elixir is the answer. Cripes it feels like a scene straight out of "The Munsters" with Grandpa conjuring up some HALF ASS magical potion in their basement that say causes a person to turn orange and behave like a monkey.
Everyone seems to believe in this voodoo BS. I know they are desperate, but Xander is a fool. And Sarah is a doctor and should be especially skeptical of all of this.
And I for one am glad Philip showed up to block the tainted deal. Besides Justin didn't even read the contract which should have stipulated that if the serum was not effective etc. then the deal is automatically voided. But if it was up to me I would not pursue the serum and hope for a Sarah miracle in another way.
This actor portraying Philip is a grave disappointment. And his curled lip moment was one I would like to forget. Ghastly.

Justin not negotiating an out for the deal was appalling. Sarah just leaving instead of saying that she isn't taking the damn untested serum so don't bother trading Titan was stupid. Xander just giving in to Kristen instead of abducting Rolf, kidnapping Rachel, or doing ANYTHING other than bowing down to her demands was idiotic.
Glad Philip stopped it but I am already irritated by his presence. Since Belle and Chloe are out of town I imagine he will hook up with Joy, who seems easy

Totally agree about Phillip. Hurts my heart what they have done with him and who is now playing him.
By the way, with ALL that recently happened with Fiona and is going on now.... where the heck is Maggie?

Even though the "new" Theresa had big issues the outline was vaguely the same so at least one could follow the crumbs to a degree. But this "Philip" bears no resemblance whatsoever to the previous actor playing Philip. What the hell was Days thinking. Strike that. Days thinking. Thats an oxymoron. It is extremely annoying. |
