Thanks for the info carolineleg. This could be a great story if Jay were in it. Lavoisier is such a mediocre actor. At least the (new?) writers are exploring this issue. It wouldn't have seemed right if Xander simply handed the company to Kristen when we all know there are alternatives.

I am very relieved that Philip blocks Xander's latest stupidity. I just hope he isn't going to be a thorn in Xarah's side for months.

I am also excited that Philip is coming back (though not JKJ). If anything to stop Xander from Kristen's stupidity.

I want to be happy but I’m just not
I always referred to JPLs version as the village idiot, he just doesn’t give the different layers to Philip
Not interested in any story he’s bringing

I want to be excited about this storyline. I really do. But I just can't get behind JPL as Philip. Much like Victor and Stefano, Philip is a very VERY complicated person and has sooooo many layers to him. JPL hasn't shown me that he can handle those layers. I need that multi-dimensional Philip.

I am not attached to Philip but I get it. I was appalled when they replaced Matthew Ashford with Mark Valley as Jack, the character was so different it may as well have been a new character all together
