Kristen is on the phone with Mr. Shin. She hangs up and calls him a freaky old bastard. She goes into the living room to find Xander there. They need to talk. She doesn’t recall any meeting planned with him. She reminds him she won’t be handing over the serum as long as Brady is in jail. Xander lets her know that Brady is now free.
Kristen is thrilled to hear that Brady is free. Xander says that he is exonerated now that the true culprit has been arrested. He tells Kristen that it was his mum, that she was drinking with Brady and was actually behind the wheel and decided to frame Brady rather than own up to what she did. Kristen actually looks compassionate for a minute. Xander is surprised she did not read about this in the Spectator. Kristen just got back from a meeting. Xander just got back from the police station where EJ still didn’t want to release Brady, but had to be talked into it by Xander and Sarah. Kristen wants to know if Brady is really free. Xander says yes, and he wants the serum. Kristen doesn’t trust him. If Brady is really free, he will pick up his phone.
Kristen returns after her Brady call. She has confirmed that he is free. Xander wants the serum. Kristen says no, since Eric was the one who pushed Brady to remember, and he was the one who alerted the police to Fiona’s guilt. Kristen thinks that Sarah and Xander did nothing to get Brady free. She is going to keep the serum.
Xander blusters that he and Sarah were the ones who convinced EJ to let Brady go. Without them Brady would still be rotting in his holding cell. Kristen knows how stubborn her baby brother can be, but he would have had to drop the charges eventually and Brady would have walked. Xander says they had a deal, and Kristen is just splitting hairs to go back on her word. Kristen says Xander did not deliver. Kristen is feeling generous. She will give him the miracle serum but she expects something in return. Titan.
Xander thinks this is a joke. She seriously expects him to hand over a billion dollar company to her. She has her own family company, why does she want his? Kristen points out that Titan is Dimera’s chief competitor, and if she merges them together she will be unstoppable. Xander calls her greedy. Kristen says it is about self preservation. The Dimera board are losing confidence in her as CEO. She has to pull out all stops. If she has control of Titan they would regain confidence, and she would be the most successful CEO Dimera has ever had. Xander says that he will never give her his father’s company.
Kristen says Xander should rethink his position on that, unless he wants to tell Sarah that he is the reason that Sarah will never walk again. Xander says that there must be something else she wants. Something more reasonable, like a new car for Brady. Kristen calls that a lame counter offer. Xander says she doesn’t need Titan to impress the board, she has the serum, she told him it was going to make her a ton of money. Kristen thought that initially, but there are clinical trials and FDA approvals that take years, and by the time she makes a profit one of her brothers will probably be CEO again, so she needs to act now. Xander says that Victor left his company to him, it was his life’s work, he can’t just hand it over to the daughter of his greatest enemy. Kristen asks why not. Isn’t it a small price to pay to help the woman you love? Xander’s face is tortured.
Xander is gone and Brady is here. He wants to see Rachel but first he wants to talk about the deal she offered Xander and Sarah. He guesses that is the plan she alluded to while he was in custody. Kristen says it was. It turns out she didn’t have to make that deal. Brady says that she is still planning to give Sarah the serum? Kristen says that she and Xander are making ‘arrangements’

These two make for great scenes together. Poor "Xandy" every time he cleverly worked in an opening the witch shut it down.
His offer to buy her a car since she got rid of Brady's was met with the deadpan "that is the lamest counteroffer ever." Ha.
None of us should be surprised. Kristen does NOT help people. Not in her DNA.
Two things to consider. I still wonder if this miracle serum might yield unwieldly side effects.
And while the case against Fiona looks rock solid there is NO physical evidence. And naturally leave it up to Kristen to destroy the car where the evidence would plant Fiona's fingerprints on the steering wheel. I know she did it thinking Brady ran over Sarah but it only reinforces the bad vibes this vile woman gives off.

Precisely. No guarantee the serum exists or even works, or doesn't have side affects that mangle the brain like Rolf's last one. I would pass on that, and certainly not hand over a billion dollar company.

Titan would have to be a multi-billion dollar company. These show people know nothing about business.

With all the resources that Xander has, he should track down Rolf and make him an offer he can't refuse. A one time dose vs his whole company.

I could be wrong, but I suspect Fiona, who has ZERO support from anyone, no friends and completely isolated, will latch onto a slick lawyer (not Justin of course) who will argue in her favor.
And since EJ is the DA, he wouldn't be averse to anything that makes the case murkier thus allowing the possibility he could still finger Brady which would delight him to no end.
Sarah previously fingering Brady might prove to be fatal. Because she can't reveal why she did it because it would implicate Xander in attempted murder.
Meanwhile Kristen will dangle the serum like the sadistic witch that she is. Which might be a good thing at the end of the day because I don't trust the serum.
