The show probably looked good on paper, but the minor scenes were decidedly minor.
Highs - The whole Chad/fake Abby affair topped off by the best moment with Steve bopping Mark on the head; JJ and Holly; Ava and Sophia "barely" get a high
Lows - Aaron and Tate felt like filler

The best part was the ending. Classic old-time Friday cliffhanger. No doubt. And instead of being some resolution of a storyline there is more to explore here as the secrets are revealed (at least that is what to expect) and everyone has to readjust and react to the new reality that just opened up. And the fallout I suspect will be better than this storyline which from the beginning was too big a stretch. |
