Xander asks Sarah how Victor Kiriakis’ son could be such a fool? He thought Fiona was there to help them through a difficult time but she caused the difficult time. He should have known that his mother would never change. Sarah tries to reassure him. They all thought Brady was guilty. Xander feels he turned back into the little boy who wanted his mum. Sarah is sorry she invited Fiona to Salem. Xander thinks she was trying to do the right thing. He wanted to believe that Fiona had changed. She played them all.
They decide to talk to EJ EJ thinks they are there to defend Fiona. Sarah tells EJ that she is sure Fiona drove the car that hit her. EJ asks which of Sarah’s stories is he to believe? Is he supposed to believe that Brady’s memory came back the same time as Sarah’s? EJ is not going to release Brady until he is 100% sure he is innocent. Xander tells EJ that Fiona confessed after he stopped her from pushing Sarah down the stairs. EJ takes off.
Xander thinks they should have told EJ about Kristen’s blackmail and Xander trying to kill Brady. Sarah doesn’t think EJ needs to know all that.

Paul Telfer was MVP today. His face, his acting. He showed so much sorrow today, and how awful for her to have to face that he was right all along about his vile mother. And that the person he loves above all others was her latest victim in a lifetime of selfish behaviour. Say what you like about Xander's past, but he again acknowledged today that he is a creation of Fiona, and has been as awful as her. I can't believe they still had to talk EJ into letting Brady go.

EJ was my MVP today. He had a smartass answer for everything and kept Sarah and Xander scrambling the whole time.
When you consider Trask was the previous DA and now EJ you have two cold calculating wiseasses who are very difficult to deal with.
Sharks on the lookout for blood.

I meant in terms of acting. EJ just did what he always does, PT really went there with his emotions.

I can absolutely believe they had to talk E.J. into letting Brady go. E.J's a DiMera, Brady's a Kiriakis. Plus, there's nothing E.J. loves more than being vindictive. Of course he'd make Xander practically beg him to let Brady go.
