Steve brings Kayla some coffee and mentions Mark. He knows that she respects him, but HE knows that he faked the results of the DNA test. He said he had Dr. Greene rerun the test. Kayla reminds him that it is a violation of Abby’s rights. He gave Dr. Greene samples from them; told him they were from Abby & Thomas. According to Dr. Greene, Kayla is his mommy. Kayla doesn’t want to jump to conclusions, but he wants to know what other conclusions there are. Mark told Steve that Abby & Jack’s original samples were still in the lab, so Kayla agrees to rerun the tests herself.

Steve is leaving a message and begs Chad to call him back as soon as possible. It is urgent. Kayla returns and says he was right. Mark lied and that woman is NOT Abby. Steve is sorry because he knows that Kayla was hoping she was. She feels bad for Jack & Chad, but Steve says they will deal with that later. They need to find out why Mark lied. He will get in touch with Jada, but they need to stop Chad from marrying ‘that woman’. Kayla says she will see if she can get in touch with Chad. Steve leaves and Kayla sends a text saying, “She is not Abigail”. The message pops up on his phone, but he doesn’t see it.

Glad Kayla was on board. So the doofus has been exposed so they need to get a hold of Chad pronto.
