Leo is writing another sex scene between Faith and Arrow when Marlena arrives, but Leo mistakes her for Hattie and closes the door in her face. Leo makes Marlena prove that it’s her before he opens the door. Leo asks her who his best friend was at sleep-away camp, but then rambles that he had no friends until he was 19, and he had a panic attack his first night at camp, and his mother had to come to pick him up.
Trying again, Leo then asks her…
He also asks her what the name of the doctor he had the hots for is, but the doctor turned out to be as straight as an arrow. Marlena answers correctly: Mark Greene.
Leo opens the door and explains why he was avoiding Hattie. Marlena says that Abe called her and said Leo needed to see her. Leo scrolls through his texts about product placement on Body and Soul.
It’s about Hattie, who stormed off the set in true diva fashion after cursing out production and taking a bunch of little sandwiches from the lunch buffet. So, they want Marlena to fill in for Hattie and fall down the elevator shaft.
Leo assures her it’s just one scene. Why didn’t Abe ask her about this? Leo says she has already turned Abe down and that Leo and Marlena have a great rapport.
Leo asks if she won’t do it for Abe or the show, would she do it for him?
Marlena insists she doesn’t want to do this. Leo tells her he’ll spend less time on her couch, kvetching about his failed TV career if she does.
Marlena says she’s immune to his manipulation, but considering all the time they’ve spent arguing about this, they could have done the scene, so she agrees. Leo is thrilled. But she reminds him that her twin sister was the thespian in the family, not her. She will only do this one scene.
Then Marlena gets a call from Eric asking her to come to the police station. They have good news to share.

DISASTER. I kept thinking she was Hattie. Is the longtime Salem staple having trouble MODULATING between the two characters?

Is it just like me or does Marlena seem more like Hattie lately? I think the actress is having a hard time separating fiction from fiction. LOL. Hey horizon , I read your comment after I typed mine and I guess it's not just me.  |

Hey horizon , I read your comment after I typed mine and I guess it's not just me. Absolutely brutal. Not just you. I kept thinking she was going to reveal herself as Hattie at any moment. Days is going to have to make a Body and Soul like decision. Scrap either Marlena or Hattie OR just send the actor to Siberia and be done with it. Ha. |

Is it the actress, the writers, or a combination of the two because the line, "words that dogs and cats understand" really sounded more like a Hattie line than a Marlena one to me.
And in trying to get the quotes correct for this recap I was amazed at how fast Greg Rikaart (Leo) can talk! His brain must run at high speed.

Not just here, just saw another board where people were saying the same thing. Not that I care, I hate Dee's character(s) whoever she is playing. And this stuff is just nonsense anyway
