Chanel is in a hospital bed. When Johnny comes to see her, she tells him she somehow threw her back out, which makes him flashback to seeing Alex having sex with someone he thought was Chanel (but was actually Stephanie.) But Johnny doesn’t mention that and simply asks Chanel how she threw her back out.
Chanel tells him she bent to tie her shoe, and her back went out, which caused them to cancel her love scenes with Alex. They didn’t even have a chance to rehearse. Johnny once again remembers seeing Alex having sex. Johnny looks like he’s about to say something when Alex walks in, asking how Chanel is doing.
Chanel is feeling doped up on the muscle relaxers. Alex is sorry he didn’t check on her sooner, but he had to rehearse scenes with Bonnie. Johnny mentions that Alex seems to be in a particularly good mood today. Alex shrugs it off, relating it to Bonnie being so elated that she wasn’t fired, and her good mood has rubbed off on him. Kate will be rescheduling their love scenes.
Chanel asks if Johnny is okay. He says he’s just worried about Chanel. Maybe she should take more time off. Chanel points out that every time they move scenes around, it costs money, and everyone is counting on her. Johnny says it’s so thoughtful of her to be concerned about the budget.
Alex leaves. Johnny says it was nice of Alex to stop by. Chanel thinks Johnny is acting off and wants to know what’s wrong. Johnny says it’s just been a long day, and he’s wiped. He just wants to take Chanel home. But Chanel is getting a jealousy vibe for Johnny.
*****
Back home, Johnny gets Chanel into bed but refuses to get in with her. He says he has a lot of scenes he has to block. She asks him to get her a pill so she’s not tossing and turning all night. He agrees, but Chanel seems to realize he’s still acting strange.
*****
Downstairs, Johnny takes a drink and talks to Stefano’s portrait.
He goes on to say how Chanel made him feel like a complete fool for being jealous, and it turns out he was right. Johnny angrily throws his drink.

There is something laughable about all of this as Johnny is madly mistaken.

I was actually hoping he'd throw his glass, even though I hate that trope. EJ does it all the time so it worked for me.

I can get behind Dark Johnny... I think the actor can pull of a range of emotions.
