Repeat of Sarah remembering that Fiona was the driver. Fiona enters the room. Sarah instantly and stupidly confronts her with: It was you! I finally remember who was driving that night. It was you.
Fiona immediately denies, pointing out she remembered Brady then changed her mind. Sarah reminds her that she never actually remembered Brady. Fiona says that doesn't mean he wasn't the driver. How could she have anything to do with the accident and where did Sarah get such an idea? Sarah says from Eric. He told her Fiona and Brady were together that night.
Fiona admits that she was with Brady that night. Sarah is mad Why didn't she say anything before now? Fiona didn't want Xander to know about her and Brady, nor did she want to add to his pain. Sarah snipes or admit you caused it. Fiona continues insisting that Brady was the driver, but Sarah isn't believing her lies. Brady wasn't responsible. Fiona says she is letting Eric put ideas in her head and Eric wasn't there. Sarah yells but I was, and I finally remember it was you behind the wheel. She urges Fiona to admit it.
Fiona says Sarah never had any memory of that night. Sarah says she does now and she knows it was Fiona. All this time she has been lying to them. Fiona says this is all the power of suggestion; Eric put this idea in her head. Sarah wants to know this happened. Fiona must have been drinking too. Fiona says Sarah saw her at the wedding and all she drank was the sparkling cider. Sarah says but what was she drinking after that, at the bar with Brady? She gets out her phone. She is done with Fiona stonewalling her. She's calling Xander.
Fiona snatches the phone away. Sarah can't tell Xander. She will lose him and she just got him back. Sarah reminds her that she hit her with a car and then kept going. Fiona cries that if Xander finds out the truth she will have nothing. Sarah doesn't care anymore. Fiona tells Sarah she has no idea what her life was like. She was so lonely and miserable, and now after all these years she has a family, and she finally has her son. Sarah asks "and his money?". Fiona says it's not about that. Sarah snaps no, it's about her running her over in cold blood. Fiona finally breaks and admits it, but it was an accident. Yes she was drinking but Brady was so much worse. She thought she was doing the right thing. Sarah is done listening to her. She demands her phone back. Fiona protests that never meant to hurt her. She took her eyes off the road for one second and Sarah appeared and she was horrified. Sarah says so horrified she lost her ability to speak and couldn't call for help? Fiona says she heard Xander coming so she knew she'd be taken care of. She hates herself for what she has done. Sarah coldly says: but not enough to stop Brady taking the fall for it.
Fiona never wanted Brady in prison. How could she know he'd turn himself in? Sarah tells her that Brady is a decent person who wanted to do the right thing, clearly a foreign concept to Fiona. Fiona says she was certain Brady would be in the clear but then Sarah identified him. Sarah says she did that as a last resort to stop Xander from killing him. Which she would not have done if she did not truly believe Brady did it. Sarah can't believe she told the police Brady was guilty. She doesn't care if she goes down for perjury now. She has to tell the truth. Fiona can't let her do that. She smiles. It’s not a good smile.
Fiona pushes Sarah roughly towards the door. She is sorry but only Sarah knows the truth and although she's very fond of her, she's about to have a terrible accident. Someone will find her at the bottom of the stairs, maybe Maggie, maybe Xander, and they will assume she lost control of her chair. She pushes Sarah towards the top of the stairs, Sarah is grabbing at the door frame to try to stop this. Fiona says that it's a pity but nobody will be the wiser. Except for me, says Xander, grabbing her arm and looking fit to kill her. He has his other hand on Sarah’s shoulder, she is staring up at him with utter relief. END OF SHOW.

Echoes of "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?" Truly scary moment as the monster was going to fling poor Sarah down the stairs. THANK GOD Xander arrived just in the nick of time.
More sterling acting from Sarah but hell she should have kept the revelation to herself until Xander got home.

I was actually very emotionally invested in these scenes. Well done, Days! I am relieved that Xander stopped Fiona in time. I was thinking that Sarah would still fall, but I'm glad she didn't.

I'm glad Xander got there in time. I hope he heard everything Fiona said.

Even if he didn't, Sarah did. Either way Fiona is toast.

Missed a bunch of episodes during the hurricane power outage.
Fiona proved herself to be the essence of evil. It's okay to kill her grandchild's mother, just so long as she herself can have a relationship with her son. Despicable.
