At Small Bar, Eric introduces himself to Fiona as Brady's brother. He asks if he can ask her a few questions.
Fiona humors him at first, saying that Brady was drinking and texted her to meet. She claims she was not drinking and has been sober long-term. According to her, Brady left by himself and caused the accident, and she broke up with him because he hurt her daughter-in-law.
Eric says the waiter says you left together. She asks why he is bothering the waiter. He says he is curious and wants to help Brady. Fiona says that Brady left first and she went after him to check on him but he insisted on driving and wouldn't let her call a cab so she went home. Eric asks how she got home. She took a cab. Now can he stop giving her the third degree?
Eric thanks her and goes. Fiona gets a martini and says to herself she hopes he bought that.
Eric goes to see Sarah. He asks her if she really saw Brady or is she covering for her mother-in-law?

Eric the same dunce that didn't know what Sloan was doing right under his nose all of a sudden has turned into Sherlock Holmes.
But at this point the sooner Fiona is exposed the better.

Can a waiter reveal personal details like that about somebody? Seems like it is none of Eric's business. He is not a cop. Having said that, I can't wait for the Fiona reveal. It is imminent. Xander is going to freak out on her. Everything he ever said about her to Sarah prior to her coming to town will, in his mind, have been validated. Although I do feel Fiona made a terrible mistake, and regrets it. I hope Sarah recalls that she waited with her for twenty minutes and did not in fact leave her to die on the street.

It’s not against the law No different then him gossiping about it He’s a waiter not a shrink so while it might not be professional I doubt he cares on a servers wage
