Maggie is surprised to find Julie alone in the Horton living room. Julie tells her Chad and "Abigail" went to Paris to try to spark Abigail's memories. Maggie has lemon bars but since no one is around to eat them... Julie says don't you dare. She wants to sit and catch up. Maggie doesn't want to intrude, but Julie says Doug is upstairs playing Solitaire and she's got plenty of free time.
They sit. Maggie asks if Julie met Abigail. Julie says the woman looks nothing like Abigail and was cold to her. Maggie is sure it's only because she doesn't remember Julie. Julie hopes she'll remember more in Paris.
Julie asks how Sarah is. Maggie says Sarah is struggling. Julie points out that Maggie overcame paralysis twice herself. Maggie says she was able to have surgery to heal, but Sarah is likely permanently paralyzed. Julie says that Sarah has Maggie and Victoria. Maggie says and Xander. Julie wishes she could forget Xander.
Maggie is annoyed. That's her son-in-law. Julie says anyway, it's awfully convenient that Sarah suddenly remembered Brady was the one who ran her over. Maggie asks if Julie is saying that Sarah lied? Julie says all she's saying is that if it were her, she'd be desperate to make the person who ran her over and paralyzed her pay. Maggie says well Sarah told her she refused to lie even though Xander wanted her to.
Julie says that Brady is a decent person who has a disease. Maggie is aware, but says he made a terrible choice and must pay for it. Julie says and wants to pay for it, I hear. Maggie says yes. She hopes once Brady goes to jail, Sarah and Xander can move on with their lives.
Maggie encourages Julie before she goes. Sarah got her memory back, so Abigail will too. Julie says Abigail promised to tell the children when she got back, either way. Maggie points out that will be easier if Abigail gets her memory back.

What, Julie thinks Brady should walk cause he has a disease? Regardless of him not being the driver, he got black out drunk and got into his car with somebody else who had been drinking, and let her take his keys.
Love Maggie's fierce defence of Xander. Julie should remember she still lauds rapist/killer Nick Fallon as a good guy. Xander is a saint compared to him.
Love seeing these two vets and old friends together though. We are so lucky to still have them.
