Eric at the pub going over Brady’s case with Roman. He is very upset that Brady is pleading guilty and getting ten years in prison. Roman says that Brady is ok with it as a punishment. Eric knows there is more to the story.
Roman says Eric just wants to believe that Brady was innocent. Eric says it is more than that. He cites Sarah suddenly remembering Brady was the driver, when hypnosis didn’t help. Roman says it could be possible. Marlena told Eric that would be rare without a triggering incident. He mentions that when Jada came to arrest Brady Xander was there in his room. Tate swore to Eric that he locked the door, so Xander broke in. As Brady is adamant that he wasn’t drinking that night, Eric is certain Brady was drugged. Then yesterday he saw Sarah talking to Fiona, and overheard them speaking about a secret they were keeping. Eric continues that since he knows Brady and Fiona were in a relationship… Roman wakes up at that one. He did not know this bit of gossip! Eric says it was brief but over but it is possible that somehow Fiona is connected to the accident. Roman says maybe that Fiona was with Brady that night. Eric can’t ask Brady as he doesn’t remember a lot (he does remember that he was drinking with Fiona though Eric), but he has another idea.

Fairly believable conversation but seems to me Eric is acting smarter than usual.

Fairly believable conversation but seems to me Eric is acting smarter than usual. That is because these scenes were written for John, but Drake was too ill too do them |
