Roman tells Ava he changed the locks for safety after the Connie disaster. Ava reasons that the pub is a public place and anyone can go upstairs. He tells her she can work at the pub again but first she should decide whether she and Stefan are really over.
Leo enters the pub and works on a script. He tells Roman he feels bad about axing Hattie since she’s a friend. He hates lying.

Yes Leo hates lying, except when it profits him, like when he kept Jude being alive from his grieving mother for months so he could buy new outfits.
Roman, you should be ashamed of yourself for consantly coddling your father's killer.

I forgot to mention. I love the way Roman just pulled out "any ole beer" to Leo. As a beer connoisseur I find that deeply offensive. Ha.
Most people are sort of picky when it comes to their beer. And that goes for wine and liquor too.
