After a replay of Tate and Holly breaking up, Sophia says she's so sorry it didn't work out. Tate says are you? Sophia says that she knows how hard Tate fought to be with Holly and she's sorry he's hurting. Tate apologizes for snapping at her.

Tate says that Sophia is right that he fought hard to be with Holly and now it was all for nothing. Sophia says Holly didn't have to take out her pain on him over Eric and Brady's drunk driving and hurting and killing people. It wasn't the first time Holly screwed Tate over. Poor Tate, having to sit in jail and then rehab.

Tate thinks he should go home but Sophia convinces him to go for a walk.

Later, they sit together on the bench in the Square. Sophia says Holly used her as a scapegoat for all the problems in Holly and Tate's relationship. Tate is upset that Holly hit Sophia. After a flashback of what she really said, Sophia says that Holly hit her because Sophia said she had feelings for Tate.

Tate is surprised. He thought Sophia was over him choosing Holly over her. Sophia says she tried to be supportive but deep down she wasn't over Tate. She's sorry for making this about her but she doesn't want any secrets between them.

Tate is glad she was honest. He's also glad the slap didn't leave a mark. Sophia is too. She doesn't want to have to explain it to their parents. They joke about her parents being nosy. Tate misses his since they're both in jail. Anyway, he's glad Sophia was honest with him. She can always tell him anything and he'll be there for her. She says in that case... and leans in and kisses him.

Tate pulls away. He says he's sorry that he wasn't clear and that she misunderstood. He's not ready for a new relationship. Sophia says she's so embarrassed. Tate says it's okay. But he's going home now.

Tate goes and Sophia smirks to herself.

Sophia and Tate are 1000% more interesting than Holly and Tate. I really enjoy them together. I also hope we meet her parents. They sound fun.

Kpatch hit it on the nail. Sophia seems to young (but acts older) and Tate seems too old but acts younger. Weird, scrambled egg.

Translation. Sophia looks 12 and Tate looks 33.

At least Sofia was semi-honest with Tate. I think Sofia can do better than Tate frankly. He's too much of a goody-two-shoes for her.

I finally got a chance to watch the last few scenes of the show. Maybe that kiss was supposed to be awkward, because it really was. Not romantic. Seemed like these two (like Arrow and Faith) are not ready for a love scene yet.

I think it was supposed to be awkward. Tate is not into Sophia and she's forcing it.
