Xander is at his desk reading the Spectator Online. The headline story is Sarah ‘remembering’ Brady hitting her with his car. Xander mutters that Brady is finally going to pay. Eric comes in and asks if Xander is doing a victory dance. Xander says so what if he is, Brady put his wife in a wheel chair so why shouldn’t he rejoice at his downfall? Xander has an international conglomerate to run, why is Eric here? Eric is not leaving until he and Xander have a ‘little chat’.
If Eric has come to beg for mercy for Brady he can save his breath. Eric isn’t. He wants to know what Xander was doing alone with his brother at his parents’ house the night before. Standing over Brady who was all but dead to the world.
Eric repeats the question. Xander says it should be obvious; he went over to tell Brady he wasn’t going to rest until he paid for what he did to Sarah. And…prompts Eric? Xander says and what, that’s it. Eric says then how did my brother end up drunk. Xander says probably the usual way, by pouring a large amount of booze down his throat. Eric says so he was smashed when you got there and he opened the door. Xander says the door was open when he got there, he found Brady passed out, then the police barged in. Eric doesn’t believe a word of this. Xander claims he is telling the truth.
Eric was with Brady last night and he wasn’t drinking. Xander points out that Brady would not drink in front of him. Eric says that Brady ran into someone who claimed to be from an AA meeting, but he didn’t know him. Xander scoffs that is because he is probably loaded when he attends the meetings. He also mentioned that the guy scratched his hand with his ring, and the next thing he knows he is home and blacked out. Xander wants to know what Eric is implying. Eric is straight out calling him out. He took a page right out of Victor’s playbook and he hired a thug to do his dirty work.
Xander asks if Eric thinks he hired a man to roofie Brady with a poison ring? Is this the 17th century or is Eric delusional. Eric says he knows it, and will prove it. Xander says he will play along: What does Eric think he and his supposed henchman had planned for Brady? Eric isn’t sure yet. Maybe Xander planned on killing Brady, and the police showed up just in time to stop him. Xander says his wife remembers Brady running her over, so whatever he was doing in his house last night is besides the point. Eric whispers that when Xander messes with his family he messes with him. Xander is disgusted that Eric is threatening him when Sarah is stuck in a wheelchair. He says screw Eric and his degenerate brother. Get out before he does security’s job for them. Eric says there is no need and departs.
Alone, Xander pulls out the gun and tells it that the justice system had better work fast, or he will have no choice but to take matters into his own hands.

Highlight of the show. Real DETECTIVE stuff. And from Eric no less. Kind of ironic. This is the same dumbass who didn't realize what Sloan was up to for the longest time.
The guy is a cameraman but the way he sliced and diced thru Xander's lies was so far beyond what dead beat Jada has ever come up with I think they should switch occupations.
And just as meany sorts like Kristen and Sophia revealed their true natures today I couldn't help but laugh the way Xander went for his gun after Eric left.
It strangely reminded me of Inspector Clouseau's boss in that Pink Panther movie where he carefully tried to shoot and kill Clouseau.
Xander looks like he is some sort of trance.

Xander looked like a member of the Mob today. LOL. He looks better when he's dressed casually. I am not thrilled how he took out the gun and is ready to pounce. But I did like it when Eric said he's taking a page from Victor's playbook by hiring a thug to do his dirty work.

They are laying on the Victor comparisons a bit thick lately
