Jada is working in the interrogation room since Rafe will be back at work soon. Stephanie comes in and thanks Jada for letting her know that Everett was innocent after all. Jada wishes Stephanie hadn’t been alone when she got the news. Stephanie tells her that Alex was there. He has moved back into the apartment building and since they are working together on Body & Soul, they seem to be running into each other. She insists they are just friends, but Jada isn’t sure about that.
Stephanie admits that she kissed Alex when she got Everett’s ashes, but he pulled away since he is still getting over Theresa, and she is getting over Everett. He doesn’t want to ruin their friendship again. Stephanie doesn’t either but she admits to Jada that she has been having thoughts about Alex. She needs to take a break from relationships.

Steph taking a "break" from relationships. I am sure her poppa would agree but I don't see it lasting more than a week. Ha.

I agree, Stephanie taking a break...likely a lunch break in length.
I do however like Stephanie and Jada's friendship.
