Now that Cherie Jimenez has been in the role of Gabi for a few months, how do you feel about her. Have your first impressions changed? For the better or worse?

I actually quite like her. She's made Gabi's scenes watchable and doesn't annoy me half as much as the last actress to play Gabi.

I don’t hate her but I also don’t love her

I prefer Camilla tbh she’s far prettier and gives a little more spice to the character that this nuGabi just doesn’t have

The truth is though Gabi in general became unwatchable the minute Stefan was her great love
Just blech
He ruined her altogether because even when he died it was still all about him for her and it was so gross

I’ll like her without him and someone entirely new in her orbit maybe, not ej

I have warmed up to her. She is sexy stern and pinched and I like her edge. She isn't one of those flimsy types.

The biggest differences between the two Gabi's are the previous actor had a much more natural and fluid wit.

But I agree that Stefan has dragged both Gabi's down.  If she could free herself from his dull clutches perhaps, we would see the full Gabi unleashed in all her glory.

I think she's a passable actor. I felt like she had potential but she plays Gabi as perpetually angry. No layers. One dimensional. Camila's Gabi had warmth and layers. She even was good at playing comedy like horizon said. I used to like Gabi. Now I want to fast forward when she appears. Maybe that will change if she gets a different kind of story.

So I'm going to give her a D+ so far.
