Xander's goon makes up a story about how he's in AA too and Brady's words inspire him. He read about Brady's arrest and wants to be there for him. They shake hands and something sticks Brady. The goon apologizes and says that his ring is sharp.
By the time Brady comes home, he is stumbling and wondering what's wrong with him.
Tate comes in. He sees Brady is out of it and assumes he has been drinking. Brady, out of it, says in a slurred voice he doesn't like Tate yelling at him. He gets up and stumbles, almost falling. Tate puts him to bed.
Brady calls Tate "Tater Tot" and mumbles about how he and Theresa called Tate that when he was a little baby. Tate says he loves him and goes.
Xander is around the corner and hides when Tate leaves the house. Tate goes and Xander breaks in with a credit card.
Xander goes to the bedroom with his gun and makes a speech about how it's too bad Brady won't be tormented like Sarah was by Brady running her over. Jada knocks on the door and announces it's the police. Xander hides the gun.
Jada comes in and Xander claims he came to give Brady some support. Why is she here? She says Sarah called her.

Lol at Xander saying he came to give Brady support. The man used to be a better liar.
Felt awful for Tate. He made the very understandable assumption that his dad is still drinking, and now is disgusted with him. Brady is just being used as a dupe all around. I hope he wonders about this when he wakes up though.

Jada got a tip and still might muck this up. Sure, Xander is "babysitting" Brady.

Poor Brady. Martsolf did a great acting job.
Why doesn't Tate contact John and Marlena? Where are they?

I can love Xander and pity Brady at the same time. Poor guy is just so easy to dupe.
I felt bad for Tate too.
