After a replay of the beginning of their confrontation, Eric ays Holly doesn’t like EJ. EJ says her opinion has changed.
They argue over who cares about Holly and who doesn't, culminating in EJ saying that Eric pretends to be Saint Eric but now Holly knows the truth: he's the one who killed her father.
Eric doesn't see why this is EJ's business. EJ says Holly came to him, devastated, and he told her how he begged Nicole to tell her the truth. Eric doesn't believe EJ ever told Nicole any such thing.
Eric says EJ threatened to tell Holly the truth to ruin things with Nicole and Eric. She should know this. EJ doubts Holly will ever believe a word that comes out of Eric's mouth again. Eric accuses EJ of using Holly to hurt him and Nicole. EJ says Holly is better off without the man who killed her father in her life.
Eric loses his temper and grabs EJ by the collar. EJ continues taunting him.
Jada comes running in to break up the fight. EJ claims that he was sitting here minding his own business and Eric came along and assaulted him for no reason. He demands Eric be arrested right now. Jada tells EJ to go get some air. EJ says that Eric should go. Eric says he lives here and is not going anywhere.
Jada tells EJ again to go for a walk. EJ goes.
Jada asks what happened. Eric tells her that EJ is trying to turn Holly against him and Nicole, and it's working.
Jada and Eric's conversation is interrupted by Jada getting an urgent call from Sarah.
Meanwhile, EJ runs into Holly when he goes outside, and she's crying. She runs to him.

I'm so sick of Eric menacing 'the bad guys' and thinking he is so pure, and him enabling Brady's drinking.
EJ is correct that Nicole will always put Eric first above anybody else in her life.

I loved the way EJ handled/baited Eric. I was so happy about the fly on the wall comment. Eric purports to know that EJ and "Holly were never close" and "you never tried to convince Nicole to tell Holly...." How would he know that?

How is it that Eric and Nicole can lie to Holly her entire life and yet Eric blames EJ for Holly's reaction? Absentee Mom Nicole should be happy that Holly is leaning on an adult who cares about her instead of looking for a pill bottle to numb the pain.

One of these days someone really needs to beat the crap out of EJ like what Brady did to him years ago almost beating him within an inch of his life, he deserves it
