EJ is on the phone assuring Harold that ‘Gabriella’ will be ok. Holly comes in. She heard about the explosion at the mansion, thank god he is alright! She throws herself into his arms.
EJ is touched. Is he back in her good graces. Holly says not quite, but she doesn’t want to see him blown to bits. EJ still regrets keeping Jude’s paternity a secret but he was desperate to save his marriage. Holly gets desperation making you do stupid things. EJ thanks her for her empathy. Holly says EJ was empathetic to her when she found out the truth about Eric/Daniel. EJ is glad he could be there for her. Holly wants to know what EJ is doing to make Tate’s dad pay for what he did to her aunt Sarah.
EJ reiterates they have no evidence despite the confession. Holly hates Brady getting away with this. EJ knows she cares deeply about Sarah, and would be upset no matter what, but her level of anger … is it about justice for Sarah or about making Eric pay for what happened to Daniel.
Holly guesses there is some truth to EJ’s words. She might be transferring her anger with Eric to Brady. Eric got a slap on the wrist, and Brady is going to walk, and Sarah is in a wheelchair cause he thought it was ok to drink and drive. EJ says it is not ok. It is horrible. As DA he is committed to holding Brady culpable as soon as he gets evidence. Holly reiterates her desire to help nail Brady. EJ tells her it is a job for the police. Holly says if the Salem PD were going to find anything they would have by now. Eric is living his best life with her mom, but Brady needs to pay. EJ agrees with her. They are kindred spirits. Holly has to go. EJ tells her to take care of herself. She goes, EJ looks pensive.
EJ is yelling down the phone that unless evidence is found there will be changes in the police department. He hangs up. He says that he might have to take Holly up on her offer. He can't rely on the Salem PD.

Now that a member planted a bug in my ear, I am getting this strange feeling EJ is beginning to have feelings for little Holly.
It strikes me that if Nicole was in town and EJ and Holly hooked up in secret can you imagine Nicole's reaction when she finds out?
It is a queasy proposition but Days has ventured into this territory before albeit most of the time nothing was consummated--ala Gabi and Johnny and Ava and Johnny. Then there is Chad and Julie. Ha. Just kidding on the last one well sort of.

Nah, this is just about Eric and EJ. Holly prefers her latest stepdad to Eric's version. EJ is firmly with Gabi going forward. Plus, ewwww

I would be up for an EJ/Holly tryst. They are "kindred spirits" after all. It doesn't bother me that he was her one-time stepfather. The age difference is more of an issue as far as I'm concerned but I like the possibilities.
Gabi got revenge on Stefan by having sex with EJ. Having sex with Holly would be EJ's ultimate revenge on Nicole and Eric. But to make it more palatable, I think the show would have them fall for each other.
The great irony is that Holly and Tate never had sex, but her first time could end up being with EJ.

It would kind of be an inverted "Mrs. Robinson" type of scenario as it would put Nicole into a tailspin rage. And it would be the most wicked revenge EJ could ever have delivered. Note "The Graduate" is one of my all-time favorite movies. Anne Bancroft's performance was one for the ages. I don't have an issue with a non-related sort of thing as would be the case here, but the age difference would be the real marking line. Which as was pointed out Days has crossed but she has to be 18 though, which I think is right around the corner. They can't push that button. |

Frankly, EJ and Holly are more intriguing to me than EJ and Gabi. I love EJ. I don't like nuGabi. So far, she has no redeeming qualities and no warmth.

While it’s a bit icky cuz of the age,
I prefer Holly and ej as opposed to Nicole and ej
I actually hated them as a couple every time around
The actress who plays Holly could pull this kind of story off
I’m not as invested in her and Tate anymore since the old guy took over his role
If she’s going to be with an old guy ej is hotter, just saying

But I agree, despite the squeamishness of it all I would prefer EJ with Holly than EJ with Gabi. If only for the drama and the Nicole factor would make things rather dramatic if they drag her back. (I still feel Nicole will return). Just a wild guess on my part. But I do hope Holly is 18 if this goes down. |
