Xander is carrying Sarah from her chair to the bed. She is irritated, tells him to put her down. He complies and helps her to lie down. He tells her he would gladly carry her in his arms to the ends of the earth. She snaps that as incredibly heroic as that is, it is incredibly disrespectful as her physical therapist says she is ready to make the move from chair to bed on her own. Xander says he acted not from necessity, but romance. Sarah tells him it is an act of defiance, she has to learn. Xander says she will, but he needs to be allowed to dote on her from time to time. Sarah looks into his eyes and asks if he really wants to cater to her every wish. Xander does. Sarah asks him to promise that he won’t go after Brady again.
Xander asks how he can stop going after Brady when he has confessed to running over Sarah and leaving her by the side of the road? And now he is walking away scot-free? Where is the justice in that? Sarah reminds him that he is preaching to the choir. He doesn’t have to tell her how unfair this is, even though he has said it a million times. Xander mutters an apology. Sarah tells him he is obsessed with making Brady pay and getting revenge, despite Sarah begging him to let it go and move forward. She cites Victoria, who needs their full attention right now. Xander is sorry that his being upset upsets her, but she is the reason he can’t let this go. This is all about getting justice for her. Sarah doesn’t want it. How can he not understand that his ‘getting justice’ for her is only causing her anxiety? She needs to focus on how to get around without the use of her legs so she can be there for their daughter. If he really wants to be there for her he needs to forgive and forget. For her sake, and Victoria’s. Xander swears he will do whatever it takes to help her be there for Victoria, but he will never forget what Brady has done to her, and he will never forgive him.
Sarah asks him to promise to drop his vendetta against Brady. Xander gets a convenient text. He claims it is Titan business and he has to go out immediately. Sarah is skeptical, given the time of night. Xander makes up something about the Asian markets. She notes that the last time he had “Titan business” he went after Brady with a bat. Xander will not promise her that he is dropping his vendetta against Brady, but he can promise he is not leaving her to go confront him again. He asks if she believes him. Sarah is trying, but she is suspicious. Xander gets some weights and tells her to work on her upper body strength while he is gone. She wants the bigger weights. She flexes and tells him she could still take him. Xander doesn’t doubt it. He kisses her and tells her he won’t be gone long.
Later, Maggie comes into the room with Tiramisu for Sarah, she sees the weights on the bed and no Sarah. She wonders where she could have gone.

Palpable tension between the two.

Sarah was rightfully irritated by her inability to do anything, and she is furious at Brady too, just wants to keep things legal. I liked that Xander would not promise to end his vendetta. As long as he is honest with her, I'm good. I don't need him to be a white shirt.
