Chanel & Johnny are in the mansion and Johnny is talking to EJ on the phone. Johnny hangs up and tells Chanel that the Fire Chief has said the house is safe, but unfortunately some of EJ’s vintage wines will need to be re-stroked. She claims to not care about the wine because she prefers a $10 to $20 bottle of wine herself.
Johnny reminds her about the expensive wine they consumed during their first wedding in Italy. They start kissing but she says she needs to rest since she has her first scenes with Alex. Johnny reminds her that the whole Alex / Allie / Chanel mess worked out okay. Allie is happy with her new life and so is Chanel. They get email alerts telling them about the script change. Even though the characters weren’t supposed to consummate their relationship for several months, this has changed. Their scene tomorrow is a love scene. Chanel can’t believe she has to do that right off the bat & Johnny can’t believe he has to direct it.
They leave after getting the message about the photo shoot.

Why are they trying to portray her as anything but a promiscuous gold digger?
