Jada arrests Connie outside the pub. Ava and Stefan walk by and tell Jada that Connie attacked them. They leave.
At the police station, Connie insists she’s done nothing wrong. Jada enumerates the murders and attempted murders Connie committed. Connie sees the Li cutout and asks him what he’s doing there. Jada calls it evidence. Connie shouts that Jada has to let him go, he’s done nothing wrong. She promises to get Li out of this.
In the interrogation room, Connie tells Jada that Bobby is the one who told her to get rid of Rafe. He was upset when he learned she stabbed Rafe, but how else was she going to get rid of him. Wave a magic wand? This is news to Jada. Jada realizes Bobby was just a victim. She framed him for Rafe’s stabbing and then killed him. He was mentally ill. Connie denies saying any of that. Brady confessed but he got out, so will she. Jada warns her that she will pay dearly.
Jada fills the mayor in on Connie. She hasn’t gotten a confession. Connie clammed up and wants a lawyer. She tells Paulina that she doesn’t think Connie’s going to Statesville. She expects Connie to end up in Bayview. For some reason, Paulina looks surprised.
Li enters the interrogation room and tells Connie he’s been booked for aiding and abetting. She advises him not to say a word, she’s getting a lawyer. She’ll get them out of this. He knows she will. She’s the smartest, most beautiful, most passionate woman he’s ever know, everything he could ever want. She knew they were meant to be from the moment they met. He tells her he loves her and they kiss. She says he’s her reason for living. “Don’t ever leave me.” The camera pulls back to show she’s alone.

That felt like a final scene for Connie. Thank goodness. Nothing against Julie Dove, who I saw interviewed last night and she seems lovely, but this story was a nightmare.

Whiplash. I loved the way SpongeBob sheriff Jada was treating Connie like dirt. Ha. "We know you carry a gun, Jada." The best part was when she said she was going to lock her miserable little life up for life. Connie a wiseass to the end.
But then later she tells Paulina she thinks it might be Bayview (see above synopsis). That PISSED me off to no end.
Of course, Days trades in annoying the audience and the "final" scene with Connie tried to shine a brighter light on her psychosis. Oh, the poor dear is "seeing things." Not getting an ounce of sympathy from me.
I wanted Connie to go down in battle suffering a brutal death. Instead, we get a half ass softish landing.
Which pretty much seals the deal this speck of dirt will return to Salem one day.
I can see it now. Marlena gives her a clen bill of health and Connie grabs some Clam chowder at the pub. Fully healed.
My ass.

Glad Connie was arrested and hope she goes away for a long time. Oh horizon don't put out another Miracle Marlena moment out in the air. So tired of her quickie hypnosis and you're healed act.

I found that final scene moving. Connie is a pathetic character. It takes a lot to play both grotesque and pathos. Bravo to Julie Dove for her credible performance as a crazy woman.
