At her pub room, Ava tends to Stefan’s wound and she thanks him for his heroism. She insists he go to the hospital to get checked out.
At the hospital, EJ runs into Ava and Stefan. They fill him in about being assaulted by Connie. EJ tells them about the explosion. Stefan rushes off to see Gabi.
EJ insinuates that something happened between her and Stefan since he was in her room at the pub when Connie assaulted them.
Ava wants to go check on Melinda.

Superb acting from EJ today. His ambivalence about Gabi was noticeable.
He had the funniest line of the day when he, with doubt, told Ava "If you say so" after she informed him her and Stefan are not an item.
Ava and EJ usually have interesting interactions because they are NEVER on the same page. Ava always looks at him with vague disgust. I even liked the surprised look on EJ's face as Ava said she wanted to visit Trask. "I didn't know you two ware friends" said EJ. He loves needling Ava. I missed those days when they were at war. A battle of ferocious wits.
