Gabi’s hospital room/Monday (Read 97 times)

EJ is seated next to Gabi's bed. She has a few scratches on her face and a mild concussion, but she’s got tubes up her nose anyway. He offers to go so she can rest but she wants him to stay. She thanks him for saving her life. Her last thought before the explosion was that she’d never see her daughter again. She gets emotional and EJ hugs her.

She wants to know if Connie has been caught. EJ tells her he’ll check. He leaves the room.

Stefan comes in and he and Gabi hug. They trade stories about Connie. Gabi tells him all the horrible things Connie did. She’s not happy to hear that he was in Ava’s room. He ends up telling Gabi that he tried to hire Ava back at the Bistro. Gabi is furious. He needed to go to see Ava at her place to apologize. He explains why he needed to apologize to Ava. Gabi calls him names. He knows using Ava to try to get back at Gabi was wrong but she doesn’t get to be mad when she slept with EJ twice. She tells him just once, she lied. Gabi claims he should know her well enough to know she was lying. She still has no interest in working on their marriage. She throws him out and tosses a plastic water pitcher at the door after he leaves.

Stefan and Gabi are so immature, it is like teenagers constantly doing stupid things to get the upper hand on the other. I am far more interested in where things go with EJ. Similarly, Ava seems like an adult next to Stefan, but they could both vanish tomorrow and I probably wouldn't notice

I thought the Stefan/Gabi hug felt real. But then everything went down hill from there. Stefan is beyond stupid but he was sort of boxed in since he was stabbed in Ava's room.

I think the rule of thumb is if there is still ANGER there is still attachment.

So, from that perspective it seems Gabi and Stefan are still attached at the hip.

When someone gives up the ghost and doesn't "care" anymore it spells the end. Gabi is CLEARLY not at that point.
