My thoughts...

1. With the show seemingly toying with a longer-term Gabi/EJ pairing, tell us who your favorite EJ pairing has been so far.
I hated James Scott and his overplayed EJ. Hated Sami so you can imagine what I thought about that coupling. I love Dan’s version of EJ though and I thought his best pairing was Belle, which is surprising since I’m also a fan of Belle and Shawn’s. I found them compelling and sexy and I was actually rooting for Belle to get into bed with EJ.

2. Fake Abigail is being blackmailed by Clyde. Do you think Chad will forgive her when he finds out? Do you expect her to be run out of town or to end up being paired with Chad anyway?
I expect her to be Chad’s next love interest even after he learns she’s not really Abby. Why spend this much airtime on her otherwise?

3. Who do you think will be the first to figure out Fake Abby isn't Abby? Steve, Kristen, Chad, or someone else?
Steve for sure. He’s already hot on the trail, if only his wife would run a covert DNA test on their "niece."

4. Which is sillier: Paulina hiring and firing the same two DAs every few weeks or Ava only being able to find a job at one of two restaurants?
About equally silly. Surely there are other qualified attorneys who could step into the role of DA. It’s actually an unnecessary character/profession. I liked it better when Trask was a rarely-used character who was only trotted out when a Salemite got arrested.

5. There was no Body and Soul this week. Were you grateful or devastated?
So grateful! But having seen next week’s B&S-laden spoilers, I’m not happy.

6. EJ turned down sex with Gabi. Alex stopped Stephanie's advances. Which was more surprising?
I was disgusted with both women for throwing themselves at these men, especially Gabi who was stunned that any man could possibly turn her down because (she thinks) she’s so irresistible.

7. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?
I was disappointed that Fiona did not tell the truth, but instead dug Brady a deeper hole by telling Xander they slept together.

8. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week in Salem?
The best thing about the week is that it feels like we are coming to the end of the audience-insulting Connie storyline.

I agree with @kpatch, he really worked with Belle, and I know Martha Madison really wanted them to do that long term but they are determined to keep with her Shawn or Philip.

I think she will end up being real Abigail and then the story will be over. I've kinda checked out already.

Steve already knows I think.

Equally dumb, equally off my radar. I just don't care.

So very grateful, but I know we are in for it this week.

Alex. That man ho usually never shows restraint.

Sarah not really remembering...or does she?

8. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week in Salem?

I loved Xander getting the super soapy lines like "My own mother slept with my nephew" and "I shot your mum so you shagged mine". After Monday it was all Connie all the time. I need it to end. Fortunately it is.

Answer: Belle, and I'm happy to see I'm not the only one. EJ and Belle were a smart, funny pairing. They really cared about one another and were a joy to watch. I know Shawn and Belle have a lot of fans, but I find them as boring as watching paint dry.
Belle can match EJ's intelligence and wit, plus go head to head with him when he steps out of line. I hate that they ended them just to put her back together with Shawn.

2. Fake Abigail is being blackmailed by Clyde. Do you think Chad will forgive her when he finds out? Do you expect her to be run out of town or to end up being paired with Chad anyway?

Answer: Chad will likely forgive her, not that I care. This should have been an exciting storyline, but given that we were told much too soon that Abby isn't Abby, it feels more like filler.

3. Who do you think will be the first to figure out Fake Abby isn't Abby? Steve, Kristen, Chad, or someone else?

Answer: I love that Kristen can spot a fraud a mile away. It takes a conman (or woman) to spot a con. But Steve will likely find a way to get the DNA test done with or without Kayla's help.
Although, wouldn't it be fun if little Thomas was the one to figure out this woman isn't his mom?

4. Which is sillier: Paulina hiring and firing the same two DAs every few weeks or Ava only being able to find a job at one of two restaurants?

Answer: Both are just ridiculous. Ava is incredibly smart. She should be working with Kristen at Dimera. And maybe Paulina should hire co-DAs at this point.

5. There was no Body and Soul this week. Were you grateful or devastated?

Answer: There has to be a stronger word than grateful. Body and Soul is worse than a waste of air time. Some storylines ar boring. B & S makes me want to turn off Days and watch something else.

6. EJ turned down sex with Gabi. Alex stopped Stephanie's advances. Which was more surprising?

Answer: I half expected EJ to turn Gabi down. He had fun sticking it to his brother once, but he's smarter than to let Gabi use him for long. Alex was the surprise here. When can anyone ever remember him turning down sex?

7. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?

Answer: Roman wandering around the Dimera mansion yelling for Gabi, missing the bloody poker, and looking like an old fool.

And did EJ really have to play knight in shining armor to Gabi after the bomb? No one seemed to care much that Melinda was battered and bleeding.

8. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week in Salem?

Answer: For once, I like Stefan. It was fun to watch him taunt Connie to try and save Ava. And good for Ava for getting her own damn knife.
And I did love Xander's, "I shot your mum, so you shagged mine."
