Happy Sunday, everyone! Here are the Round Table questions for this week.
1. Holly thinks Nicole and Eric kept the truth about her father's death from her to protect Eric and don't care about her. On a scale from 1 (She's living in her own reality) to 5 (She's got them pegged exactly right) how accurate do you think her assessment of this situation is? 2. Everyone is (rightly) saying that driving drunk has consequences and condemning Brady for it, but we know he didn't do it. Does this storyline undermine the PSA about the dangers of drinking and driving? 3. What do you think is the reason Mark and Fake Abigail are doing what they are doing (besides who we saw they were working for in the spoiler video, of course).? 4. No one came to Everett/Bobby's memorial except Jada and later Chad. How do you feel about Steve and Kayla not being there for their daughter during this time? 5. Do you think Sarah truly didn't see the driver during her hypnosis session or did she hold back that she saw Fiona? 6. We know Fiona isn't likely to tell the actual truth to Xander, but what do you think she will confess? 7. What did you find the least realistic on this week's Days of Our Lives? 8. What was your favorite quote, scene, or storyline on this week's Days of Our Lives?

My replies....
1. Holly thinks Nicole and Eric kept the truth about her father's death from her to protect Eric and don't care about her. On a scale from 1 (She's living in her own reality) to 5 (She's got them pegged exactly right) how accurate do you think her assessment of this situation is? I will say 4. It’s a bit of an overreaction to hate Eric and Nicole, but I do think Nicole was protecting Eric and over time it became easier and easier not to tell Holly the truth, since she wasn’t asking anyway.
2. Everyone is (rightly) saying that driving drunk has consequences and condemning Brady for it, but we know he didn't do it. Does this storyline undermine the PSA about the dangers of drinking and driving? No, I think people are smart enough to separate fact from fiction and don’t use soaps as a cautionary tale.
3. What do you think is the reason Mark and Fake Abigail are doing what they are doing (besides who we saw they were working for in the spoiler video, of course).? I’m guessing they’re being blackmailed by Clyde in some way.
4. No one came to Everett/Bobby's memorial except Jada and later Chad. How do you feel about Steve and Kayla not being there for their daughter during this time? Not sure Stephanie even asked her parents to attend, but they should have been there. However, Kayla was at work and Steve was busy questioning Fake Abby.
5. Do you think Sarah truly didn't see the driver during her hypnosis session or did she hold back that she saw Fiona? I don’t think she was able to make out a face, but it did sound like she saw someone and should be able to exonerate Brady even if she can’t ID Fiona.
6. We know Fiona isn't likely to tell the actual truth to Xander, but what do you think she will confess? I expect her to confess that she knows Brady, that they had a fling and that she cares for him. Therefore, she will beg Xander not to harm him, for her sake.
7. What did you find the least realistic on this week's Days of Our Lives? I found it unrealistic that Brady would confess as much as he did to Ava, who he admits he barely knows. Also that Connie seems to be holding the whole town hostage in one way or another. Marlena's magical hypnosis sessions are ridiculous. And I didn't like that Victoria's entire birthday party was offscreen.
8. What was your favorite quote, scene, or storyline on this week's Days of Our Lives? I loved two EJ scenes. The one where EJ was teasing Johnny about his job, and Johnny was questioning his father’s sanity in sleeping with Gabi. And the scene with EJ and Holly discussing the recent revelation that Eric killed her father.

1. Holly thinks Nicole and Eric kept the truth about her father's death from her to protect Eric and don't care about her. On a scale from 1 (She's living in her own reality) to 5 (She's got them pegged exactly right) how accurate do you think her assessment of this situation is?
Answer: At least a 3. Nicole and Eric love Holly, but they took the easy way out, and now, predictably, it's blown up in their faces. Holly is 17. She should have been told the truth years ago and has every right to be angry.
2. Everyone is (rightly) saying that driving drunk has consequences and condemning Brady for it, but we know he didn't do it. Does this storyline undermine the PSA about the dangers of drinking and driving?
Answer: No. Brady was so drunk he doesn't remember what he did, and that's dangerous. And we know that Fiona did hit Sarah, and while she was black-out drunk, she was still drunk and should not have been behind the wheel.
3. What do you think is the reason Mark and Fake Abigail are doing what they are doing (besides who we saw they were working for in the spoiler video, of course)?
Answer: Clyde must hold some sort of power over them, but I can't say I really care. It's sad that I've already lost interest in this storyline.
4. No one came to Everett/Bobby's memorial except Jada and later Chad. How do you feel about Steve and Kayla not being there for their daughter during this time?
Answer: Yes, Steve and Kayla should have been there for Stephanie. It would have been nice if Leo and Xander, who worked with Everett, were there too, but since Everett's character got short-changed, I'm not surprised his memorial did as well.
5. Do you think Sarah truly didn't see the driver during her hypnosis session, or did she hold back that she saw Fiona?
Answer: I don't think she saw Fiona, but it wouldn't surprise me if Sarah starts to dream about it and see more of the event, which will be traumatizing. None of this will be easy for Sarah.
6. We know Fiona isn't likely to tell the actual truth to Xander, but what do you think she will confess?
Answer: She might admit to knowing and caring about Brady, which will throw Xander for a loop. Or she might pivot and claim that Sarah told her how much she cares for Brady and that this will hurt Sarah. Fiona is an adept liar so anything is possible.
7. What did you find the least realistic on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Answer: Everything Connie. How long can she hold Melinda without having to change the sheets?
8. What was your favorite quote, scene, or storyline on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Answer: All things EJ. Whether he's baiting Stefan, sparring with Gabi, teasing Kristen, being chastized by Johnny, or a caring shoulder to cry on for Holly, every scene is entertaining.
Also, Kristen describing her history with Brady as "All-consuming love to frothing at the mouth hatred" was so spot on that it made me laugh. At least she's self-aware.

1. Holly thinks Nicole and Eric kept the truth about her father's death from her to protect Eric and don't care about her. On a scale from 1 (She's living in her own reality) to 5 (She's got them pegged exactly right) how accurate do you think her assessment of this situation is?
Holly is exactly right, a 5. Nicole will do and say anything to protect Eric. When Holly said this to EJ, you know he knew it was true too. Holly can be annoying, but she was bang on correct in everything she said, from Nicole's actual reasons for lying to her to the very real fact that she owes her life to EJ right now. I am also glad she acknowledged that EJ did think his own child died last year, and went through a very real mourning period.
2. Everyone is (rightly) saying that driving drunk has consequences and condemning Brady for it, but we know he didn't do it. Does this storyline undermine the PSA about the dangers of drinking and driving?
No. Brady is in this situation because instead of going to a meeting that Xander had asked him to attend, he decided to hit a bar and get drunk instead. If he had been a responsible adult he would have been at the office and not drunk, and not in a situation where he got so drunk he has no idea what even transpired that night.
3. What do you think is the reason Mark and Fake Abigail are doing what they are doing (besides who we saw they were working for in the spoiler video, of course).?
Either Clyde is blackmailing them, or one of the Dimeras killed their parents.
4. No one came to Everett/Bobby's memorial except Jada and later Chad. How do you feel about Steve and Kayla not being there for their daughter during this time?
Odd. Steve was just at the house questioning Fabby. He could have done that after the memorial. Kayla is the only doctor who works at that hospital these days, so I understand her not attending. Xander is obviously very occupied with Sarah, but I don't know what Leo's excuse was.
5. Do you think Sarah truly didn't see the driver during her hypnosis session or did she hold back that she saw Fiona?
Sarah's exact words were "I know who it is". She knows. She is just processing the information and how to break it to Xander.
6. We know Fiona isn't likely to tell the actual truth to Xander, but what do you think she will confess?
I think she will give Brady an alibi that clears him and that also makes sense to Brady, while outing them as a "couple". I don't know if she will reveal they were drinking buddies, but she will do enough to stop Xander from going vigilante on Brady.
7. What did you find the least realistic on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Jada not opening the bedroom door, and Melinda, knowing Jada was there, not making as much muffled noise as she could. Honourable mention to Paulina screeching Rafe out of a coma.
8. What was your favorite quote, scene, or storyline on this week's Days of Our Lives?
I really liked Fiona trying to tell Xander what she did, the actress was really effective as her voice broke when she said she could not bear the thought of leaving him, Victoria and being part of his life behind. I choose to believe she would not have smothered Sarah, she is an addict as well and making a ton of awful decisions, I will give her tomorrow to try to make better ones. I think Sarah will likely give her the choice to come clean with Xander or she will.
I also liked Xander slowly unbuttoning his shirt sleeves and rolling them up. It was very ominous. Brady being a willing lamb to the slaughter was good too. Both of these guys asked their women to lie that Brady confessed this week. This situation is torturous for them both.
