Jada is telling comatose Real Rafe that Gabi translated his mother’s cookbook and she’s been learning how to make his favorite dishes. Paulina enters and tells Jada she needs to take care of herself too. Jada wants to help Stephanie plan Bobby’s memorial which surprises Paulina considering he put Rafe in a coma. Jada states she once loved Bobby. Paulina says Jada should go. She will sit with Rafe. She has her phone/tablet/mobile office and can work anywhere. The women hug and Jada leaves.

After Gabi leaves (see Gabi's pissed thread) Paulina tries giving Rafe a pep talk to wake up. She orders him as mayor to “Wake up Rafe Hernandez.” Rafe stirs. Paulina gasps. He opens his eyes.

I didn't know I'd miss Rafe, but I'm happy he's awake.

Pleased he is awake. But this is a two-tier thing. Since he was sort of brain dead as Commish the past year hopefully "both" his brains start functioning.

Happy for Gabi too.
