Ava runs into Stefan in the square. They get coffee at a table. Ava is surprised to learn that Gabi slept with EJ. Ava thinks it’s just a ruse. Stefan relates the details to Ava. What better way to hurt Stefan than to sleep with EJ? Ava is sympathetic. He quotes John Lennon. “Life is what happens when you’re making other plans.”
In the square, Jada calls her colleagues for an address on Connie Viniski. Ava overhears and tells Jada that Connie is staying in Li’s old apartment. Melinda told her that. Ava informs Jada that Connie got Ava fired. Melinda was on her way to fire Connie because her resume was a complete fraud.
After Jada leaves, Ava tells Stefan that Connie is now Jada’s problem.

Finally, Ava spills about Melinda's whereabouts. I just wish she would think a little harder about it and should have mentioned to Jada Trask was MIA. Geeze that would have helped. Instead she gave the impression that Trask is taking a relaxing leave of absence. It also seems Stefan seems to be more suspicious than Ava and he only met Connie once.

I have a fondness for Ava because she is such a George Costanza like loser. When was the last time Ava "came thru?"
Perpetually on the wrong end of the stick and yet she walks around philosophizing about everyone and everything. Here was a golden opportunity for Ava to have her little hero moment and mention Trask is actually "missing" but as usual she flubbed it by casually saying it isn't any of her business. In that sense maybe she is tailer made for Brady. Certainly, Kristen and Theresa were off kilter.
Too bad greasy Kristen isn't on this case. She is routinely suspicious of people and has a sense about evil, (takes one to know one) and perhaps she could put together the Connie thing if given a chance.
