Maggie wishes that Brady had called. She wouldn’t have judged him. Sponsors just support and listen. She told Brady that no matter what, all he had to do was pick up the phone and call her. If he was impaired, she would pick him up. She would prevent him from destroying himself or anybody else. Especially getting behind a wheel when he had been drinking. She still can’t believe he actually did this. Justin also finds it hard to believe, that not only would Brady drive drunk but be so heartless so leave Sarah on the road. Maggie gets that he had a relapse but the Brady she knew would have helped Sarah. Justin says Brady doesn’t remember doing it, but he still confessed. Maggie asks why on earth would he confess to something he has no memory of. Maybe he didn’t do it? She wishes there was a way that Brady could turn out to be innocent.
Justin says Maggie is so gracious and forgiving. He couldn’t do it in her shoes. Maggie points out that Justin was in her shoes, after the accident that killed Adrienne and Mickey. She was found innocent, and Orpheus had framed her. Justin wishes there was a possibility that Brady was being framed, but there is no evidence to support it. Maggie does not understand how a good person like Brady could hurt Sarah and drive away. The Brady she knows could not have done this.
Xander pops in on Maggie. The soup is heating up. He tells Maggie that Sarah had a memory of the accident. She can’t recall a face and it was stressful for her. Maggie wants to go up to Sarah but Xander assures her that Fiona is caring for her. Maggie agrees with Fiona that it is too much to push Sarah. Xander is anxious to make Brady pay but he doesn’t want to traumatize Sarah. Maggie says that Sarah will hopefully remember the face behind the wheel clearly. Xander doesn’t know what he and Sarah would do without both of their mothers. Maggie says they both love him and Sarah and aren’t going anywhere.
Xander and Maggie are holding hands. When Sarah first told him that his mum might be coming to their wedding, he had so much resentment towards her. He didn’t understand that she had so much to overcome. Now she is here it warms his heart, not to be corny. Maggie says that Fiona is a godsend to them at this difficult time.

I thought the old Maggie brain had come back with her questioning if Brady really did it. But sadly she reverted to form when her and Xander sang the praises of Fiona. Yikes if only they knew the woman is a monster.
