Holly is still ranting about Brady running over Sarah and leaving her for dead. Tate is still defending Brady as an addict who is a good person. Holly says he should deal with his addiction then not make somebody else suffer for it. Tate says he wasn’t thinking clearly, he is an alcoholic who had a relapse. He is tortured with guilt. Holly should have some compassion. Holly says she doesn’t, maybe Tate has forgotten her father was killed by a drunk driver who wasn’t in his right mind either. Tate has not forgotten that. But that was a terrible accident too, and she forgave Eric, right? Holly is confused. What does Eric have to do with her dad being killed by a drunk driver?
Holly presses. Tate thought she knew. He tries to evade. Holly says they don’t keep secrets. She needs to know. Tate tells her that Eric was the drunk driver who killed her dad.
Holly says that can’t be true. Tate asks why he would do that. He would never lie to her, especially about something this important. He overheard Theresa and Kim talking about it when he was a kid. It is a huge family secret. He thought Holly knew. She never talks about the accident. Holly says Nicole told her the drunk driver died in the accident too. She can’t believe Nicole lied to her about this. Tate says Nicole just wanted to protect her. Holly says just like she wanted to move her to Paris to protect her from EJ and Tate. She would have been living under the same roof as the man who killed her father. Nicole didn’t do this to protect Holly, she did it for the same reason she does everything, to protect her beloved Saint Eric, the love of her life.
Tate is defending Eric as a good person. Holly doesn’t want to hear it. She does not want to hear him defend Eric the way he defended Brady. Some things are indefensible.
Holly wants to be alone. She yells at Tate to leave. He reluctantly does so. He wants her to know he is here for her. Holly is crying. She sits on the bench, overwhelmed. Good acting, you can tell she is both devastated and furious.
Holly has finally googled the accident. She sees it is true, that Eric was the driver who killed Daniel. Holly can’t believe Eric killed her dad. Eric comes out of the foliage at that moment. She glares at him.

Thie news would be psychologically earth churning. Her trusted "pal" and confidant turn's out to be the ghoul who killed Daniel her dad. Hey Days bring back Daniel by the way. What the heck.
Eric, it seem, is in BIG trouble.

While I'm glad this bit of info is out, I'm just amazed at how quickly Holly turns on a person. And honestly, I'm surprised that Holly has never done a google search on her dad before now to at least learn more about him...not necessarily about the accident.
And yet she still doesn't know that her dad's heart beats in Brady. That's a lashing out I want to see. I want to see Holly berate Brady for doing something so stupid (the black out drinking - not the driving)...and risking it all - including losing the last piece of Daniel that any of them have left.

I was thinking the same thing mae00. Why wouldn't ANYONE, including during Eric and Brady's conversation, mention that Brady was in the accident Eric caused also and ended up with Daniel's heart. Does Holly not even know THAT?
