Holly waits in the park for Tate. She’s glad to see him, and they kiss. She asks how he is, and he says he just saw his dad at the police station. "It was awful, depressing as hell, and I feel so sorry for him." Holly doesn't understand why.
Holly says Brady belongs in jail for what he did to Sarah. She has to learn how to get into bed all over again.
Tate insists Brady hates himself and that it was an accident. Holly argues, "Your dad didn’t have to get drunk and get behind the wheel. It wasn’t an accident; it was a crime." Tate explains that Brady got upset and he had a disease and it caused him to drink. Holly retorts, "So he forgot that driving drunk can kill people?" Tate asks why they’re arguing about this, insisting that the situation isn’t black and white. Holly disagrees, saying there’s no gray area, and thanks to Tate’s dad, her Aunt Sarah won’t be able to walk again. How can Tate defend Brady?
Tate insists his dad is a good person who has a disease. Holly argues that no one else should have to suffer for it. "Didn’t he ever hear of those drunk driving PSAs?" Tate responds, "He’s an alcoholic who had a relapse. Why don’t you have compassion for him?" Holly reminds him that her father was killed by a drunk driver." Tate says he hasn’t forgotten that but insists that was a terrible accident too, but she forgave Eric for it, didn't she? Holly doesn't know what he's talking about.

Holly should be a little more sensitive. Brady is Tate's father. Of course Tate is going to support his dad. The whole purpose for that argument was that last moment when Tate said, "You forgave Eric."

Their quarrel felt realistic and then the OOPS moment by Tate.

Wow! I'm glad that secret didn't come from EJ.
Very realistic scene. I can understand Holly's immaturity and defense of Sarah (as she feels guilty and just came from helping Sarah).
