In the interrogation room, Brady looks tired. A cop brings Tate in to see him.
Tate asks if it’s okay that he checked on Brady. Brady says it’s fine but assumes Tate is ashamed. Tate says he feels bad for him and wants to understand how it happened. Brady explains that it starts with one drink, which leads to a couple more. He adds, "Your dad’s an alcoholic, as you know, and sometimes it’s hard for me to stop. I don’t even remember—that’s how drunk I was, that’s how bad I was." Tate asks why Brady relapsed in the first place.
Tate asks, "You started drinking because of Mom?" Brady admits he’s responsible for his own actions but confesses he didn’t like it when Theresa married Alex, realizing they’d never get back together. He found himself at the Pub, and it went downhill from there. Tate asks if he’s been drinking the whole time. Brady reminds Tate of when he told him to go back to camp, admitting they were both lying to each other that day. "But son, my lies were worse, because the consequences were tragic, and they cannot be undone." He explains he didn’t want Tate to see him like this or be ashamed of him, but the truth is, "Your father was very ashamed of himself."
Brady tells Tate he’ll understand if Tate doesn’t want anything to do with him anymore. Tate insists, "You’re my dad! And you were there for me when everyone blamed me for Holly’s overdose." Brady thinks that's different because Tate was innoncent, but Tate reminds him that Brady even tried to take the rap for him. Brady asks if Tate is mad that he tried to keep him and Holly apart. Tate says he doesn’t care about that. Brady warns Tate that Theresa might not be the only one going to prison. Tate doesn't understand. It was an accident. Brady explains that drunk driving is a crime, and he hit someone. Tate says everyone understands alcohol is a disease and would forgive Brady—he already has. They hug, and the guard opens the door. Tate says he loves Brady and leaves. Brady turns around, looking upset.
Later, John comes to see Brady. John tells him everyone is there for him. Brady tells John to go see Sarah and then see how he feels. John insists he’s there for both of them and mentions that Justin is working to get Brady cleared. Brady shouts, "I don’t want to be cleared! I want to pay for my crime!"
John says he doesn’t understand why Brady bothered calling Justin if he's just going to plead guilty. Brady says Jada insisted. John tells him he doesn’t know what he’s pleading guilty to, and there’s no proof he did it, especially with no car. Brady explains that Kristen got rid of the car in a misguided attempt to protect Rachel. John advises him to think about Rachel too. Brady says he thinks of the kids all the time, and worries they're ashamed of him. John says the kids would be so devastated if Brady got locked up...and so would he. Would Brady fight this for him?
Brady tells John he’d do anything for him, but this… he has to come clean.

Brady is lucky to have so much support. John's pleas were heartbreaking.

The show sort of bored me but it was nice to see emotional support for Brady from his son and dad. Nice acting from Brady. He has a lot of people on his side.
And why won't he consider something else took place that night. Stubborn one way fool. John's "legal" advice makes perfect sense.
And Jada hasn't followed up with Brady to CLARIFY any details. Very disappointed we aren't seeing some neat detective work in action.
I am pissed the car is apparently gone. And all that evidence.
