Xander Accosts Justin / Thursday (Read 129 times)

In the living room at the Kiriakis mansion, Xander asks Fiona how she’s settling in. She says the house is palatial and asks why Xander ever moved out. Xander explains that Victor wasn’t as gracious as Maggie. Justin walks in just then and says, "If Sarah needs anything..." Xander interrupts, "What she needs is for you to fire your client."

Xander wants to know where Justin's family loyalty is. Justin says everyone deserves a defense. Xander retorts, "Says who? Drinking and driving is a crime, and he left without checking on Sarah." Justin says he knows Xander is suffering. Xander wants them to lock Brady up and throw away the key, but Fiona interjects that it was just an accident.


Xander asks, "You’re not defending Brady, are you???" Fiona says she doesn’t know Brady, but he has a disease like her and didn’t mean to harm Sarah. Justin agrees. Xander snaps, "We know what side you’re on." Justin tells him,"This isn’t about sides. This is about someone who’s remorseful, and Brady is family. And by the way, the family forgave you for kidnapping my wife." 

Xander angrily complains that Justin didn't offer his services to Xander then. Justin says Xander is lucky not to need a lawyer now after almost choking Brady to death. Xander says next time he sees Brady, he will break his bloody neck.

Justin says he has to check in with his office to make sure Brady's paperwork is in order.. Xander hopes  the paperwork has been lost.

After Justin leaves, Xander rants to Fiona, who assures him she’s 100% on his side. Xander appreciates how caring and supportive she’s been since the accident. Fiona says she always will be. Xander suggests they check on Sarah and invites Fiona to come with him.

You know Xander made a good point
He was refused legal aid and he’s family
Brady is a screw up and a disgrace and not because of addiction
He’s like this sober as well and everyone defending him is gross even if we know he’s innocent and they don’t

Looks like Fina is burying her head farther into the sand. Trapped like a rat and surely she will be exposed at some point. Maybe Xander will strangle his own mom. I guess no one has noticed she is gradually starting to deteriorate.

Xander may be 100% right, but it's a little tiring to hear him rant about Brady every time he's on camera. We know it's for dramatic affect to try and show Fiona's reactions. It's not working for me. I prefer to see Xander being supportive of Sarah without the rants.

I agree @kpatch It's all about making Fiona feel bad, but we get it.

And Justin offered Xander legal aid when he was accused of shooting Harris just a few months back. Guess Xander forgot cause it was during the strike period.

I think all told this is a limited storyline. Somewhat similar to the Theresa charade but at least at times Theresa provided a few humorous moments.

Fiona is just a full-scale humorless worm. And needs to be exposed. And tossed away after that.

Very revealing that in the morning she ALMOST went to the booze bottle but quickly remembered who she was with etc. and settled for the water.

I find it interesting that so many people have decanters in Salem. Think the DiMera clan. Where I come from that is a rich people's type of thing.

When his crime was an outsider yes he was offered but when it was family he wasn’t
That’s the point xander made and sorry but I’m team xander on that one
I’m team xander who was guilty vs an innocent Brady cuz Brady is a giant d bag who’s always coddled and put on a pedestal, much like Eric

I'm also on Team Xander, as this is his wife and this is the rest of their lives. Plus as someone mentioned above, Brady ALWAYS gets the free pass. I can't wait for the fall out of Fiona's lies and faux support. Xander will be devastated.
