Kayla shows up with a wrench and asked if somebody called a plumber. Steve fixes her sink and Kayla makes a remark about how lucky Stephanie is to have him around. Steve makes the comment if she hadn’t moved out, he wouldn’t have to make a house call. He can’t help wanting his kids close to them what with everything that is going on with Jack, Jenn & “Abby”.

They are having coffee and Kayla says that Jen can’t believe she didn’t believe this person was her daughter. Kayla thinks that it is because she is afraid of losing her again, so she is having a hard time believing it is Abby. Steve comments that DNA tests have been wrong before at the hospital, but Kayla said she took the swab and Mark Greene was the only other person involved and she trusts him.

Steve wants to know if “Abby” will ever get her memory back, but Kayla says they can only be hopeful. If being in familiar settings doesn’t help, Kayla will suggest she talk to Marlena. Steve remembers when he had amnesia and was afraid to remember who he was. He says he was a fool back then, but Kayla got him back.

When Stephanie returns home, her parents are kissing. She fakes calling 911 on her parents. They say they were leaving and that her disposal has been fixed. Kayla wants them to all get together for a family dinner soon. She tells them about her visit with “Abby” and is glad to hear they are working on a treatment plan. Kayla is confused and Stephanie tells her about the call “Abby” was on when she walked in. Kayla says that she had not talked to “Abby”. Stephanie is confused because “Abby” said she was talking to her.

Some amusing banter between Steve and Kayla. I liked Kayla's response to Steve's jokey comment that he should move next door to Stephanie with a "every girl's dream."

Loose lips sink ships. This fake Abigail is very sloppy. Not a good idea to lie about Steph's mother especially since Steph and Abby were just talking to each other.

Realistic way to bring Steve and Kayla in just to have a conversation about Abby. They've still got it.

More evidence that something suspicious is going on with Abby now that Kayla said she didn't speak to Abby today.

Steve and Kayla were the best part of the show. I wished we'd seen Steve's failed attempt at fixing the garbage disposal though.

I especially liked Steve talking about when he had amnesia. It was stupid yesterday when Stephanie said she couldn't imagine not remembering who you are and who your family is, when both Jack and Steve have had that experience and Steve is right here.

I'm also glad that Steve seems to be suspicious. Finally someone pointed out that DNA tests in Salem aren't reliable.

Kayla should know better than to trust anyone implicitly. She needed to oversee the DNA test herself, start to finish.

Leo also mentioned false DNA test results.
