Alex is at Stephanie's place. Neither can believe that Brady is the one who hit Sarah. Alex is happy Brady has Justin as his attorney but worries that Xander will be furious about it.
Stephanie shares that she's doing PR for Body and Soul. Alex tells her he might be working there too. Abe thinks he'll be perfect as Arrow. Alex has never acted, but how hard can it be? Stephanie believes it takes a certain talent. Alex says maybe he has some talent, but if he doesn't, that's fine. It's not like this is his life's ambition.
He's auditioning for Arrow. A heartthrob with chiseled features and washboard abs. But he's nervous. Stephanie offers to run lines with him. Afterward, Stephanie tells him he's Daytime Emmy-worthy.
They continue to run lines and share a moment during an intense romantic scene that has them staring into one another's eyes. Alex backs off. The script calls for them to kiss, but he'll save the kiss for the audition. Stephanie says he was great. The only note she would give is that he could slow down a bit and not race to the finish line. This is a big moment.
Alex appreciates her advice. He needs to get going. He asks if he can give her a hug. She says she'd like that. The two hug. He says thanks. She tells him good luck and break a leg.
*****
Leo comes over to thank Stephanie for the fantastic write-up she did of him in the press release.

One of the funniest moments of the year. Watching Steph read the ludicrous Soap lines was funny enough, but I lost in when she squirreled up her face reciting something about a "squadorious" brain or something to that affect.
The lines they are reading have a parodic farce like feel to them and I'm sorry I AM a Silly Goose and I love goofy silly off the wall humor. I can't help it if I LOVE Benny Hill.
And I even liked the way they "predictably" setup the moment where they were supposed to kiss.
Some will say trite and trivial. But for those like me who likes silly Joe Orton British type humor it serves a purpose.

These scenes weren't awful. There was some actual story between the lines.
And the script was kind of funny, mocking far-fetched storylines that are similar to those Days has run for nearly 60 years.
