I love the actress but hate her story
Also we know she’s not Abby so it’s hard to invest

I gave it so-so. Fake Abigail is extremely lovely to look at and a decent enough actor, but this storyline has been hanging in the air like a dewy mist. Not going anywhere in particular and the jarring difference in looks with the new Abby is tough to swallow.
And so is Chad's sad sack act.
Maybe it will get fleshed out a bit with this Dr. Greene business but that doesn't take care of the basic problem where the fake Abby doesn't remotely look or act like the other Abby.

I hope it picks up when some of the other active storylines are resolved. Bad would be a step up from how awful this story is, and it's because of Chad. He's so dour and one-note. I've never been a fan. I actually fast-forwarded all his scenes yesterday. Therefore, I gave it an "unwatchable" rating.

It's just so-so. I was expecting better. As we know she isn't Abby, there isn't nearly as much drama as there might have been if they'd kept us guessing for a while.

I think after all this is over, the scam or the blackmail, that Chad will end up falling for Fake Abby or she'll fall for him. I wish the writers would just give up on Chad. He's not an interesting or compelling character. He's not leading man material. He's not an alpha male like EJ. He's a Dimera in name only. His best scenes are those with Julie and what does that say about him?

I agree with ProudTVJunkie that it would have been more interesting if we'd been kept guessing. I would have liked to see her struggling with not being sure if she was Abigail. |
