We replay EJ saying, "Any enemy of Ava is a friend of mine," and Gabi thinking about Connie’s advice to sleep with someone else. Gabi texts someone.

Stefan accuses EJ of hating Gabi with the heat of a thousand suns. Gabi shows up and adds that EJ hates Ava more, claiming he’s on the right side of history, and history is written by the winners. She plans on winning everything—except Stefan. She reveals that she told "Abby" that Stefan raped her. Stefan says Chad didn’t want her to know that. Gabi argues that "Abby" should know she’s under the same roof as a man who violated her. When Stefan protests, Gabi yells at him to get back on his side of the room. Stefan gets a call about a fire alarm going off at the Bistro.

Connie smirks as she texts Gabi: "Mission accomplished."

Gabi calls the hospital and learns there’s no change in Rafe’s condition. EJ says he wishes he could say he’s sorry. Gabi retorts that was low, even for him, accusing him of being rude about her comatose brother because all they have in common is hating Ava. EJ blames Gabi for ruining his life at that press conference, while Gabi accuses him of stealing Jude from his father. EJ argues that he was only DA because Gabi stole his company.

Gabi rants that Stefan was supposed to be her hero but jumped into Ava’s bed instead. EJ comments that Ava seduces people who should know better, even seducing Johnny. Gabi counters that Johnny is just a kid, asking if EJ is defending Stefan. EJ says Stefan was a fool. Gabi calls that sweet. EJ says he meant Stefan was a fool to ever be with her. She claims she did him a favor because he was a fool to think she would ever choose him over Eric. She just pushed things along.

Gabi laments that all she ever wanted was to be loved, and she thought she was, but Stefan screwed her over, and now she just wants revenge. She’s sure EJ feels the same way about Nicole. EJ tells her that’s enough. Gabi taunts him, saying she gets why he doesn’t want to give Nicole a divorce—she and Eric scampered off to Paris, and there’s nothing he can do about it. Gabi suggests he must be feeling a lot of pent-up frustration but points out that he hates Stefan, and he’s still here, as is she. She gives him a flirty smile. EJ asks what she’s suggesting.

EJ moves in like he’s going to kiss Gabi but then says she’s not his type. Gabi responds, "Oh please, you’re not mine either. That’s not the point. This is about getting those pesky, miserable feelings out. You know what they say about that fine line between love and hate. Help me hurt him. Let’s use each other to stick it to them all."

Later, Chad comes into the living room, but no one is there. He looks around and then leaves.

Stefan knocks on Gabi’s door, telling her she can pull all the smoke alarms she wants and tape up the entire house, but nothing she does will make him stop loving her.

Meanwhile, Gabi and EJ are making out on the bed…

I'm into this. I think that with both of these recastings, EJ and Sami was a bust, and so was Stefan and Gabi. The new actors are both really good and this is something fresh for them.

And I just love EJ.

Gabi has that "dominatrix" hot look going for and one can understand her sex appeal.

But it is a stretch to think EJ would be interested in a sexual alliance given their foul history. I guess he ignored his own cold shower advice. I thought for a moment they were going to fake being together, but I guess not.

Must say this Gabi is hellbent on revenge and I am enjoying that part. Stefan is not a favorite of mine that is for sure. She is sexy and mean. Not a bad combination. Ha.

I like this EJ and was hoping for a strong romantic interest but not sure Gabi is it. Though they have that love/hate thing going, and Gabi is at her best when she's being a spit fire (rather than when she's dumbed down with Stefan).

Not sure where they're going with this. It's a surprising coupling. And at this point, forced.

As a fling used for revenge, this makes sense. But if they try and turn it into anything more than sex and revenge, I just don't think I buy it.
