We replay the scene of Connie and Ava. Connie denies that Melinda ever came to see her and threatens Ava with a lawsuit if she continues to spread libelous claims. Ava brushes it off, saying, "Yeah, yeah, you’re gonna sue me." Connie responds that’s not what she was going to say.

Ava asks Connie what she was going to say. Connie advises her not to gossip, and it won’t matter. She gets a text from Gabi and says she has to go. Toodles! She disappears and Ava mumbles to herself, "Toodles???"

Later, Ava runs into Stefan in the Square. She comments to Stefan that he seems upset. Stefan reveals that someone pulled the smoke alarm on purpose, adding, "This isn’t a middle school, so who would do that?" Ava suggests that it could be someone who wanted to ruin his evening. She knows one person who wants to ruin every evening of his from now on.  Nope, Gabi was with him when he got the call. Ava suggests it could be Connie.

Ava explains that she saw Connie, who ran off when she got an urgent text from Gabi. Stefan says Gabi is just being petty. Ava speculates that maybe Gabi wanted Stefan out of the house. Stefan says if Connie did this, it’s a crime. Ava reveals that Connie is a Gabi stan and even… Stefan asks what Ava means. Ava reluctantly says that Connie faked her entire resume.

Ava terlls Stefan how Melinda had told her this and was supposed to go to Connie's to fire her, but Connie claimed Melinda never showed up. Stefan finds that odd. Ava adds that Kristen mentioned Melinda quit out of the blue. Stefan speculates that maybe Melinda didn’t want to fire Connie, so she left. Ava says it all seems a little weird, don’t you think? Stefan agrees.

Ava doesn’t know why she’s wasting energy worrying about Crazy Connie or Gabi. She needs a job. Stefan apologizes, saying he’s the one who betrayed his vows, but she’s the one who lost her job. He offers to rehire her at the Bistro, but that would mean Gabi would never forgive him—not that he expects her to anyway. Ava says she understands that he loves Gabi and wants her back. Stefan says he knows Gabi hates him right now, but he’s not giving up.

Ava is suspicious of the Melinda thing and has time on her hands. I think she will be the one to rescue her. She has already killed in that apartment before: Watch out Connie!

Ava is the court jester on the show. Leo is more extravagant, but Ava's real soul mate is George Costanza.
Even the way she told Stefan Gabi no longer wanted to look at him was funny.



But it is her cluelessness that makes me chuckle as well.

A few pieces here and there regarding Connie but I hope Ava doesn't pay heed to her own babbling about not caring bout Trask, Connie, Gabi etc.

She needs to stop and think for once in her life and ponder the idea of how outlandish it is for Trask to suddenly quit. And VANISH.

But she also doesn't realize Connie is a poisonous snake and hopefully doesn't make the SAME mistake that cocky Trask made.

At least some movement in the Connie story but nothing is truly connecting yet. Hopefully as more holes fill in someone connects the dots.

If anyone deserves a bullet to the forehead it is Connie.

No one really cares enough about Melinda to go find her. I guess Ava tried calling, which puts her in Connie's bullseye.
