Stephanie puts on dance music and dances around her kitchen. There’s a knock on the door. She turns off the music and answers it—it’s Jada. Jada apologizes for just dropping by. Stephanie offers her food or wine, but Jada says she can’t stay long. She wanted to drop something off—she has an urn.


Jada explains that she got the call from the funeral home when she was on her way to see Rafe. Stephanie assures her not to worry, that she’ll take care of it. She asks how Jada is doing, noting how busy she seems. Jada says it’s been a week and she thought she would feel better after the break in Sarah’s case, but now Brady has turned himself in. Stephanie is shocked. Jada explains that Brady doesn’t remember anything from that night, and she has a feeling there’s something she’s missing.

ada admits the evidence is strong, but something isn’t sitting right with her. She apologizes for talking about this, explaining that she’s used to hashing things out with Rafe but is now alone in his home, doing his job. Stephanie reassures her that she’s doing a great job. Jada reflects that if Everett hadn’t wanted her, this wouldn’t have happened to Rafe. Stephanie insists it’s not Jada’s fault. Jada guesses that’s true, but the longer Rafe stays in a coma, the less likely he is to ever wake up. Stephanie expresses her sympathy, saying they’ve all been praying for him. Jada says their support means everything to her. Stephanie asks if Jada is getting enough sleep and taking care of herself. Jada admits that they can’t, they’re so short-staffed, and though Paulina has been great, she just… Stephanie offers her a shoulder to cry on, and they hug.

Jada thanks Stephanie and apologizes for leaving her with the urn. Stephanie says it’s fine, she’ll handle it. She offers to grab a bite or talk anytime. As Jada opens the door to leave, Leo arrives. Jada says goodbye to Leo and leaves. Leo asks if it was something he said. Stephanie tells him she was on her way out and asks why he’s there. Leo reveals he has written up a bio, but when Stephanie looks at it, she sees it’s full of lies, which she removes. She says the show’s fans don’t care about this; they just want to be entertained. Leo asks if they can keep a line about him saving the world from destruction. Then he notices the urn and realizes it contains Everett’s ashes. He asks, "What are you gonna do with him?"

Stephanie says she’ll plan a service, mentioning that she knew what kind of wedding she wanted but didn’t expect to plan a service like this. She doesn’t even know who would want to be there. Leo, who worked with Everett, says that funerals aren’t really his thing. Stephanie says they’re no one’s thing, but Everett didn’t know anyone in Salem. Leo suggests Everett's friend Connie.

Stephanie is surprised to hear that Everett had a friend named Connie. Leo says he saw her coming out of Everett’s room, and she claimed to be an old friend. She’s also Gabi’s new assistant. Stephanie says maybe they should reach out to her to see if she wants to attend the memorial.

Jada didn't mention arresting Xander for assault/attempted murder so I guess my boy walked lol

Uh, that is all I got out of these scenes. Stephanie is a snooze.

I guess Leo giving the Connie/Everett connection to somebody is good

I just wish Jada had SPIT out what's bothering her about the Brady affair. Give us a bone would you.

Vaguely funny interaction between Steph and Leo. My favorite part was when Steph rereferred to Lady Whistleblower as a "she" and then corrected herself when looking at Leo to say "you."

A small piece of the Connie jigsaw puzzle revealed here. Will it lead to more?

Good way to bring up Connie. Seems more people are finally catching on. Hopefully this means the end is near, as Trey said in another thread.
