Xander wheels Sarah into the living room. He asks if she needs anything. She heard that Maggie made lemon bars. Xander says he will fetch some. Sarah thanks him. Xander says he is just the delivery service, Maggie is the cook. Sarah says that is not what she is talking about. He has been so loving, understanding and supportive, and she could not have got through this without him. Xander tells her she doesn’t need to thank him. She is his wife, who he worships and adores, he will gladly bring her lemon bars and everything her heart desires for the rest of their lives. He loves her and will be by her side forever, or until she gets sick to death of him, and maybe even for a little while after that. Sarah tells him she could never get sick of him. They kiss. She wants her lemon bar. He goes to get it. Her big smile goes away as he leaves the room.
Xander brings a plate of lemon bars. He is arranging transport of all of their belongings from their apartment, Fiona is packing as well, Maggie is on her way with the baby. Sarah offers him a bite of lemon bar. Xander ate three on the way from the kitchen, but he is more than delighted to take a bite out of Sarah. He leans in to kiss her, but his phone rings. It is Jada. She lets him know they have the suspect in custody and he has confessed. Xander: Great. Now tell me the bastard’s name.
Sarah is alone and looks frantic. Maggie arrives and is pleased she has moved in. She wants to gently break the Brady news to her, but Sarah tells her she already knows. She can’t believe it’s true. Maggie says it appears to be, since Brady called Justin to represent him. Maggie wants to know how Xander took the news. Sarah says, exactly how you expect. Maggie wants to find him and calm him down, but it is too late, Sarah says he took off to the police station. Sarah has never seen Xander like this. He looked angry enough to kill.

I didn't much care for their apartment so back to better scenery for Xander and Sarah. Not thrilled Sarah is stuck in a wheelchair.

I hate the KMansion wallpaper. I'll miss their sweet little Scottish flat.
I'm sure she will be walking by Christmas.

Why do they relegate all the good stuff to off-camera. It would have been so dramatic to see Xander's reaction to finding out the culprit is Brady, and Sarah trying to stop him. Instead we get the trite trope of Xander strangling Brady.

Instead we get the trite trope of Xander strangling Brady. I thought I missed the part where Xander was told. I guess not. That was a bit off. And him trying to strangle Brady felt a touch off and over the top too. He has been patient with Sarah and accepting the situation then on the other hand he turns into a maniac trying to strangle Brady. Understand why he would be pissed but it doesn't quite match his behavior of late.

It felt like classic Xander to me. He always has been calmed by Maggie and Sarah and to the rest of the town he is a tyrant. And Sarah has been foreshadowing this all week and last with worrying about what Xander would do when the driver was found. She knows what he's capable of.
