Maggie is telling Sarah about the time she lost her parents in a car accident and was the only survivor. She wished she had died with them. She was angry and scared. It is okay for her to feel that way. Sarah admits that Xander is angry enough for both of them. She wants to know how her mom dealt with not being able to walk. Maggie said she felt like she owed it to her parents to keep the farm running. She had to learn with her new normal and tells Sarah not to give up.
Tate & Holly bumps into Brady as they try to leave the hospital unseen. Brady wants to know why the people at the Lacrosse camp didn’t contact him that his son was hurt and was returning to Salem. He also wonders why he is with Holly. Tate comes clean and tells his dad that he didn’t hurt his leg at Lacrosse camp, but at Smith Island. He sent Aaron to camp in his place, and he was spending the summer at The Horton Cabin so he could spend time with Holly. Holly leaves them alone and Tate pleads his case with his dad. He wants to know if Brady ever lied about something because he was afraid of how someone react. Flashback to Kristen telling Brady how she got rid of his car so the police wouldn’t be able to find it.
Xander comes up and Tate tells him that he is sorry about what happened to Sarah. Xander admits that the police have a suspect in mind, but Jada wouldn’t tell him who it was.
Sarah is stressing that, if she is paralyzed, that she won’t be able to keep up with Victoria. Holly enters and confesses to Maggie that Tate has been staying at the Horton Cabin. Maggie wants to know if he broke in, but Holly admits that she took the key and let him in. Maggie comments that this why she couldn’t find it the other night when she was looking for. Holly wants to know which night. Maggie says that Sarah was coming back to help her look for the key so she & Xander could spend their honeymoon there but was hit by a car. Holly is upset and says that what happened was all her fault. If she hadn’t taken the key, Sarah wouldn’t have gotten hit by the car. She runs out crying as Xander comes in.
Maggie & Sarah tell Xander that Holly feels responsible but Xander agrees with them it is not her fault. The only person to blame is the driver of the car.
Tate is talking to Brady about the psychopath who hit Sarah. Brady accuses him about trying to change the subject. Tate again tells his dad that he is sorry he lied about not going to camp but going to Smith Island instead. He insists that nothing bad happened and will accept any punishment Brady feels is necessary. He just begs his dad not to keep him & Holly apart. Brady receives a text from Kristen warning him that Jada is on her way to arrest him and he needs to RUN! Brady tells his son there is something he must do and leaves.
Holly finds Tate in the Lobby and he tells her his dad is acting weird. He doesn’t know if he (Tate) is in trouble or not. Holly tells him that they are to blame for Sarah’s accident.

I can understand Holly's reaction.

I am very impressed with Xander for not losing it on Tate and Holly. The old Xander would have lashed out just cause they were partially involved.
Brady is really the world's worst parent. And that is saying a lot when his baby mommas are Kristen and Theresa. He ditches his kid at the hospital and goes to turn himself in without even giving Tate a heads up.
The Maggie and Sarah scenes were absolutely beautiful. Lovely from both actresses

This is not how I expected Holly to find out, right there face to face with Maggie and Sarah. The fault lies with the person who ran Sarah over. But no, she would not have been in that place at that time if the cabin key was where it should have been.

Brady is a terrible parent, and he shouldn't have forced Tate into the Lacrosse camp. I said it at the time. And he was too distracted with his own enormous problems to keep his focus on Tate today. Perfectly understandable.
But he had the line of the day when he said, "you mean I have been shelling out all that money for Aaron." Can't blame him for lashing out on that one.
Back to work Tate at the pub with Ava to make up for it. Ha.

It didn't bother me that Brady didn't tell Tate what was going on. Brady appeared to me to be in shock. After he got Kristen's message, I think he did consider running. He didn't know in that moment what he was going to do and he didn't want to involve Tate in his mess. I liked how it played out.

Remember Brady thought his alibi was pretty tight and he was unaware that his blabber puss stepmother accidentally set the record straight about the whereabouts of his car that fateful day.

The emotionally deep conversations between Maggie and Sarah were so beautifully done by both Suzanne and Linsey. I literally was crying thru it. To get a little deeper insight on Maggie's back history was golden! I hope the writers someday go deeper into her past because it this history is what Maggie who she is and why she is a woman of compassion.
Like Sarah, I am concerned about Xander's reaction when the truth comes out.
I hope Fiona character become redeemable by doing the right thing and not letting Brady take the fall etc. It would have been fun to see Fiona and Maggie become good friends after hitting off so well and have some adventures. I was really starting to like Fiona at first, until the drinking, hooking up with Brady and setting him up.
