Tate is exercising in his underwear when there’s a knock on the door. He thinks it’s Holly, but it’s Sophia. He asks why she's here. She suggests Tate might be lonely since Holly is visiting Sarah and asks what he wants to do.
Tate asks, “Why would I want to hang out with you?” Sophia responds, “We’re friends.” Tate accuses her of trying to gaslight Holly and make her feel bad they haven’t had sex yet. Sophia suggests Tate must be sexually frustrated and uncomfortable. He defends Holly, saying she’s not teasing him, and the guys who said that are just trying to get into Sophia’s pants. Sophia asks, “So you don’t go around thinking about sex?” He says he doesn't Sophia points to what he has between his legs. He covers it with a pillow and says that doesn’t mean anything. Sophia says she can’t leave him alone with that pent-up sexual energy.
Tate tells Sophia to relax already. She says she thought he'd never ask and takes off her coat, revealing a sexy bathing suit.
Tate tells Sophia to put her clothes back on, saying he doesn’t want this. She responds, “I won’t tell if you won’t.”
Tate pleads with Sophia to stop. Sophia says Holly doesn’t have to know. Holly shows up just then, accusing Sophia of being desperate and trying to get with her boyfriend. Sophia retorts that Holly has no claim to Tate when she can’t get past first base with him. Holly says that’s none of her business and tells Sophia to leave. Sophia snarkily reminds Holly not to be late for work and goes.
Holly wants Tate to tell her what really happened.

Sophia is a bit too much now. There must be more teen boys in Salem than just Tate and Aaron, surely?

Sophia does have some smart aleck like Jan Spears qualities. She is "sex positive." Ha. I thought Tate was on the verge of giving in.

Sophia's very beautiful but throwing herself at Tate so aggressively like she's a 30 year old sexpot was a little hard to swallow for a 17 year old kid.
I hope Holly believes Tate quickly.
