1. Did you find Xander and Sarah’s wedding touching and beautiful or rushed and disappointing?
I’m glad they’re finally married. They’ve had many weddings already, both aborted and successful. It didn’t bother me that there were only two witnesses. What bothered me is that it was squished into the last five minutes of a show with more airtime given to Body & Soul ridiculousness.

2. Should Alex and Stephanie have broken all of Theresa’s plates?
They needed to blow off some pain, anger and frustration, and destroying Theresa’s dishes was a fine way to do that, especially when you throw in the Greek traditions.

3. After Connie tells Dead Li that she wants to hold onto the secret for maximum impact, what do you think of her telling Gabi her husband cheated on her just a few days later?
I was surprised it happened so soon. Just shows that Connie is not as calculating as she likes to think she is. But frankly, I’ll be happy to be done with this Stefan/Gabi/Ava secret. It’s not that shocking, dramatic or interesting. Gabi and Stefan were never a favorite couple, so I don’t really care.

4. Is the mystery woman Abby? Do you want her to be?
Yes, I think it’s Abby. Why bother otherwise? Even with all the surgeries and memory loss, wouldn’t her voice be the same? First thing they should do before even dragging the poor woman to Salem with strangers, is to get a DNA test to see if she and Jack are a match.

5. Rate your enjoyment of all things Body and Soul from 1 (Make it stop!) to 10 (Best storyline ever!)
One is too high. Zero.

6. If you could rewrite ONE storyline on the show, which one would you choose and how?
Just one? That’s hard! I’d have hired a more age-appropriate actor to play Tate. I wouldn’t have hired Emily O’Brien to ruin Theresa. I guess those are more casting decisions than writing. I’m writing an ongoing saga for Philip and Chloe called the Rest of Our Lives to give them a better adult love story than they ever got on air, so I’m all about “writing” the show’s wrongs.

7. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?
So much time devoted to the innocuous Body & Soul. Such a waste of time and an insult to viewers who tune in for drama and romance, not a farce starring Hattie and Bonnie for heaven’s sake! So much time devoted to Connie. I also can’t stomach Fiona. The actress is awful, the character lacks warmth and sex appeal and I feel no connection between her and Xander. Lastly, Victor’s watch rightfully belongs to Philip, not Alex and not Xander.

8. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week in Salem?
I loved Xander and Sarah’s vows. That’s about it.

It was beautiful. Exactly (almost) what I wanted. A private ceremony with just the mums there. The only thing that would have made it perfect was if Fiona was holding a real Victoria and if they had angled the ceremony in front of the window instead of the kitchen. The vows were EXACTLY what was needed for Xarah: Xander promising to be completely honest and Sarah to not fly off the handle and bail.

Well, I get the reasoning, but I hate to see wanton destruction. I get that Alex is furious at her, but really, his life is still fine, he is still the oldest son of a millionaire and Xander didn't even fire him.

3. After Connie tells Dead Li that she wants to hold onto the secret for maximum impact, what do you think of her telling Gabi her husband cheated on her just a few days later?

Usual crappy writing, but I've checked out on all parties in this story. I have no investment in Stabi in any form and Connie is repulsive.

4. Is the mystery woman Abby? Do you want her to be?

I think she will turn out to be, but I am not sure that will be revealed right away. From what I heard Ron did not intend her to be, but then his mind was "changed". But nothing is confirmed.

5. Rate your enjoyment of all things Body and Soul from 1 (Make it stop!) to 10 (Best storyline ever!)

-1. Horrendous. Cringe worthy. Embarrassing. I only watch if I have to recap that day. Marlena as Hattie is mortifying, and adding Screeching Bonnie and Overthetop Leo to the mix just makes it ten times worse. I feel for Kate. Abe seems to have embraced the stupidity. Years with Paulina has rotted his brain.


6. If you could rewrite ONE storyline on the show, which one would you choose and how?

I would make baby Mickey Xander's daughter from Sarah and Xander's one night stand, and that she was double swapped that night with that third baby in the nursery that night. The parents found out their daughter was terminal and switched her with Sarah's healthy baby and ran out of town fast. Maybe only one of them knew and confessed to the remaining one on their death bed, and they approach Sarah with her little girl, now Rachel's age. Xarah have to navigate raising this child who they don't know, but is their child, and deal with all the emotions of reviving that trauma.

7. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?

Connie. Body and Soul. Why is this getting 90% of the airtime? I am hanging on for Xarah, Stayla and the Chabby plot. I think that's it right now.

8. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week in Salem?

Obvs (TM Sarah) the Xarah wedding. I loved the vows. It was what I needed from both of them. Glad they are safely married for what is bound to be a very rocky and emotional fall for them. Bracing myself!!!

Answer: I loved the vows, but felt like they, and fans, deserved a more elaborate wedding. I know they don't have the budget, but I miss location shoots for weddings. And I hated that most of the episode was about Body and Soul, and the Xarah wedding was shoved into the last five minutes. Xarah and their fans deserved better.

2. Should Alex and Stephanie have broken all of Theresa's plates?

Answer: I love anything that's a nod to Victor and his Greek heritage. And although Alex is still rich, Theresa did put him through an emotional wringer, so I can understand wanting to purge her presence from his apartment. All things considered, this was low on serious destruction and high on satisfaction.

3. After Connie tells Dead Li that she wants to hold onto the secret for maximum impact, what do you think of her telling Gabi her husband cheated on her just a few days later?

Answer: I'm happy with anything that moves this story toward a swift conclusion. I don't care about Gabi and Stefan. I sort of like Ava. And Connie makes me want to fast-forward through it all.

4. Is the mystery woman Abby? Do you want her to be?

Answer: As Kpatch said, if she's not, then what's the point. So, yes, I hope she is Abigail. At least it will hopefully give Chad more interesting stories moving forward.

5. Rate your enjoyment of all things Body and Soul from 1 (Make it stop!) to 10 (Best storyline ever!)

Answer: Can we go into negative numbers? This may be one of the worst storylines Days have ever told.

6. If you could rewrite ONE storyline on the show, which one would you choose and how?

Answer: I want Holly to learn that Eric was the drunk driver that killed her father. It's the only reason I'd want Nicole and Eric to stick around. The emotional fallout would be fantastic as Holly tries to process her ex-stepfather having killed the father she never knew, her mother not only forgiving Eric but marrying him and the whole town knowing, including Grandma Maggie, Daniel's mother, but keeping that secret from Holly her entire life!

7. What annoyed or disappointed you on Days of Our Lives this week?

Answer: I can't believe they killed off Everett/Bobby giving us no answers about his DID, but Body and Soul is on over half the week.

8. What was your favorite story, scene, or quote this week in Salem?

Answer: I actually enjoyed the scenes between Stephanie and Alex, which was a shock even to me. And I love Chad and Jack working together, I just wish we got more of it.
