1. Did Nicole and Eric's ending feel rushed to you or was it handled appropriately? 2. Connie appears to have killed Bobby/Everett. Do you believe he's really dead, and do you want him to be? 3. It appears that everyone besides Leo has abandoned the Spectator office in one way or another (Nicole/Eric left, Jack and Chad went to Missouri, Xander gave up his half of the paper, and Everett is dead). How do you feel about this development? 4. How likely is it, on a scale from 1 (nope, no way) to 10 (it's obvious), that Gabi already knows about Ava and Stefan's affair and is messing with them by pretending not to? 5. Is this Body and Soul story good comic relief, ridiculous to the point of annoying, or somewhere in between? 6. What, if anything, disappointed or aggravated you on this week's Days of Our Lives? 7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives?

1. Did Nicole and Eric's ending feel rushed to you, or was it handled appropriately?
Answer: It did feel rushed, but I was so tired of Nicole and Saint Eric that I was happy to push them out the door. The only reason I'd like them back is to see Holly finally learn that Eric killed her father and watch the fallout.
2. Connie appears to have killed Bobby/Everett. Do you believe he's really dead, and do you want him to be?
Answer: I fear he really is, which is a travesty of storytelling. They spent the better part of a year building up this DID storyline, only to leave us wondering what triggered it or which personality would emerge the more dominant. I feel like they wasted my time.
3. It appears that everyone besides Leo has abandoned the Spectator office in one way or another (Nicole/Eric left, Jack and Chad went to Missouri, Xander gave up his half of the paper, and Everett is dead). How do you feel about this development?
Answer: I hate it. I've really enjoyed seeing these characters have real jobs, especially the interaction between Chad, Leo, Everett, and Xander. And I certainly wouldn't mind throwing Jack into that mix. The Spectator has far more storyline potential than Basic Black, Titan, or Dimera. It would be a real shame if they dropped it.
4. How likely is it, on a scale from 1 (nope, no way) to 10 (it's obvious), that Gabi already knows about Ava and Stefan's affair and is messing with them by pretending not to?
Answer: Honestly, I just don't care. Stefan and Gabi bore me. Not even the potential of watching this secret blow up on them has kept me interested.
5. Is this Body and Soul story good comic relief, ridiculous to the point of annoying, or somewhere in between?
Answer: At first, the plot seemed silly but possibly fun, and I was willing to give it a chance. Now, it's taking up a lot of airtime, and it's been nothing but nonsense. It's quickly turning into something so ridiculous that it's annoying.
6. What, if anything, disappointed or aggravated you on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Answer: Connie! She's like fingernails on a blackboard to me, and she's suddenly on more than any other character. Please, make it stop!
7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Answer: There wasn't a lot to love this week. I enjoyed Ava and Trask having a real conversation. And I like Jack and Chad working together, but I wish their scenes had more substance.

Great questions, heroicmuse! Here are my answers. Did Nicole and Eric's ending feel rushed to you or was it handled appropriately? For me, it took too long for them to leave and they were given too much airtime. It’s been decades since I rooted for them. Their recent history has made them both unrootable and unlikeable. 2. Connie appears to have killed Bobby/Everett. Do you believe he's really dead, and do you want him to be? I found Bobby super creepy. I’m not a big Berris fan so I don’t want him to continue returning. 3. It appears that everyone besides Leo has abandoned the Spectator office in one way or another (Nicole/Eric left, Jack and Chad went to Missouri, Xander gave up his half of the paper, and Everett is dead). How do you feel about this development? I presume the newspaper has more than 6 people working there. I don’t know what Leo’s future role will be but from spoilers, I think he may find a writing gig elsewhere. 4. How likely is it, on a scale from 1 (nope, no way) to 10 (it's obvious), that Gabi already knows about Ava and Stefan's affair and is messing with them by pretending not to? I’d say 1. If she hired Connie, she’s dumb as a rock, so I don’t think she’s scheming at the moment. But there will be hell to pay once she does find out about the affair. 5. Is this Body and Soul story good comic relief, ridiculous to the point of annoying, or somewhere in between? Ridiculous and silly and the biggest waste of airtime in Days history. Nothing that will happen will advance any storyline. The one good thing about it is that Johnny gets a job close to home in his chosen profession. Surely they can find something better for fine vets like Lauren Koslow (Kate) and James Reynolds (Abe) to do. 6. What, if anything, disappointed or aggravated you on this week's Days of Our Lives? Hattie showing up. There was nothing entertaining about watching the idiot try to read lines. Speaking of Hattie, there’s just way too much Deirdre Hall on screen these days. I’m also aggravated that the drama from the fallout of Victor’s son reveal should belong to Xander but we’re getting no emotional upheaval out of it. 7. What was your favorite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives? I am warming up to Holly and Tate. I liked how they supported one another this week. I’m glad Nicole is gone. She was never a favorite, and like Sami before her, she was front-and-center way too much.

1. Did Nicole and Eric's ending feel rushed to you or was it handled appropriately?
Rushed. Didn't care. Won't miss either of them and they way they ate up screen time with their relationship that never seemed to make either of them happy.
2. Connie appears to have killed Bobby/Everett. Do you believe he's really dead, and do you want him to be?
Yes I think he is dead, I think Ron was too lazy to continue the story the strike writers started and just eliminated him. I liked him and wanted to see an integrated version with both personalities. Connie is a pointless waste of time, and on so bloody much, dominating the show when nobody wants to see a badly written 'serial killer' somehow outsmarting everybody on the show, despite being blatantly fishy.
3. It appears that everyone besides Leo has abandoned the Spectator office in one way or another (Nicole/Eric left, Jack and Chad went to Missouri, Xander gave up his half of the paper, and Everett is dead). How do you feel about this development?
It will likely be just Jack running the paper again, pretty much like it was for the last 35 years, so I'm good with it. I'll miss the workplace scenes though, it gave us unlikely stuff like Xander and Nicole running into each other.
4. How likely is it, on a scale from 1 (nope, no way) to 10 (it's obvious), that Gabi already knows about Ava and Stefan's affair and is messing with them by pretending not to?
No, she doesn't, but she suspects something is up. And I don't care, I didn't like the first version of them and this is even worse. I would like him gone and her in a new pairing, as I think Cherie is very good.
5. Is this Body and Soul story good comic relief, ridiculous to the point of annoying, or somewhere in between?
Beneath ridiculous and annoying: It is offensive and stupid and I will not be watching any of it. Unless it airs on a recap day for me which apparently it does this week. Darn it!!!!
6. What, if anything, disappointed or aggravated you on this week's Days of Our Lives?
Xander once again invisible and when he surfaced, appears to have suffered no real trauma over discovering his true parentage. I get British stiff upper lip and all, but when he is alone with Sarah we should see how angry and sad he is. Also does he even want the money and Titan? I hope they explore that. Also, Theresa I think is done and after her egregious amount of airtime, her final humiliation is off screen.
7. What was your favourite scene, story, or quote on this week's Days of Our Lives?
I kind of loved Brady's walk of shame with the backwards shirt, the limp and the leaves in his hair. It was fun physical comedy. And of course I enjoyed the rapport between Xander and Sarah, the actors work so hard to put in the little intimate moments that the writers don't bother putting in the script.
